[3.9] The Bringer of Leech - Blade Flurry -League Starter -Budget-New Player Friendly!

Hi, i'm following this build in 3.2 in my second char.
I'm using PoB and, in calcs, it says:

Life Leech Cap: 1729,6
Life Leech Rate: 5774,5

Diging more deep, it also says that will reach the cap in 0,5s

Sorry if I don't understand Life Leech very well, but this is not a waste in Passive Points/Items/Gear?
A few things

1. Whats with the random regen nodes? the ones that grant a tiny bit of regen? they dont seem to be very good if the build is specialising in leech as a defense

2. Why no Vaal Pact? it drops regen but doubles the leech cap for a single passive point

3. The Blood Magic Keystone would solve all mana problems with one node, combined with vp the leech you would have should fix problems with mana while attacking, it also grants access to three nodes which will give a total of 35% increased hp with 50% reduced mana reserved, which helps with auras

4. The Writhing Jar spawns to worms with very little HP, killing these with a 6 stack blade flurry release would cause an insane amount of life leeched due to ascendany, and half[?] of that would be instant

5. I'm not sure whether you know this or not but a elder Stygian Vise with good rolls and a decent gem would be better then the belt of the deciever

Is your worry that you are wasting 4k leech? regardless of what you do your leech/second will always be over cap, its what the +% maximum life leeched per second nodes help with

if your current claw has less then 280 pdps then get a better one, other wise gems and jewels imo
Did u considered about taking a stat stick instead of using a rare claw? Maybe you can explain why you've chosen the rare claw? For now i am working on a 6L Belly and afterwards my next step will be offhand so i have to decide stat stick or claw :o

Thx =)

Its because the guide says to use a rare claw as offhand because of the "while leaching" benefices

I really appreciate this guide!
Started playing this game as the new league launched...Following this (and other well written) guides helped me a lot. :)

My current gear/setup: https://pastebin.com/sDzKK7JN
(Dunno if the dps values are correct or not, no idea how to set up PoB :D )

I will probably change the tree as I start upgrading my gear again. Im busy farming currency right now...Aiming towards jewel slots+ "good and expensive" jewels

I am thinking about implementing this item to the build in the future. Looks like a cool item once I swap to Belly+ other belt+ helm.

I was also wondering if Stygian Vise was a good option.

EDIT: Does it matter if I have Bloodseeker in main/off-hand? (Could not find the answer, I know it was asked already)

Because in passive tree you have nodes like Ambidexterity that increases damage with different amounts for main and off hand weapon, placing a highest dps weapon in MH is better. Normally Bloodseeker have 250-260 dps, so it's more likely going OH.

Also, my turn for asking: Is armour better than evasion if using with leech? Earlier I posted my PoB link.

Thanks, it makes sense. Luckily I got my hands on a higher dps Gemini Claw, been using it on MH.

As for your question I figured going for armor might be better. I am only scared of big hits. You can not really get enough evasion to make it worth (since thats not the stat you want to have on your items most of the time). Going for a mix might be an option, but usually feels worse to me. You will have a few% evasion in your build no matter what tho.
