[3.10] From League Starter to Shaper – Cheap, Tanky, Fast and Fun Physical ST – Very Detailed Guide

Im currently level 45 and this build is insanelyyyyy terrible when it comes to SSF. If you dont have requisite claws you should be using you will die a lot and you will not do a lot of damage at all. Im really hoping Oranments help me when i hit 46, if they dont im definitely abandoning this build. Im also using a lot of stuff that you dont definitely dont SSF. Not tanky at all, dies easily.

This build has been up for 5 leagues. Thousands of people have made it and liked it. I have 77 pages that prove it.

If you can't make it work then it's your fault. I can see that this is your first league. You only have a bunch of low level chars. You know nothing about the game. There's nothing wrong with that, we all start from somewhere. There is however a lot wrong with blaming the build for your own incompetence.

I suggest you abandon it immediately since your don't like it. This is a game, there's no point in doing something that you don't enjoy. I would also suggest you try to learn the game instead of blaming others for your own ignorance.

Seems a tad harsh of a response. Yes, he is expressing an opinion he didn't like the build.

Normally I just lurk, but felt the need to say something this time.

First of all at level 45 what he has is nowhere near what this build is. More importantly, he's new, doesn't know anything about the game and yet chooses to play SSF therefore making his life a lot more difficult. Instead of recognizing that and asking for help (or abandoning SSF altogether) he chooses to come here and blame the build for his own inability to cope with the raised difficulty bar that he himself has set. My response is not harsh. It's just true.

I was wondering if using hi pdps claws (400+) would be a huge DPS boost over the scourge ?

Have you ever tried swapping them?

Well a 400 pDPS claw wouldn't make much difference. You need to go to 450+ to really see something. Those would be 15ex a pair so I don't really think it's worth it. I've never tried them, just simulated them on PoB.

Remember that a Scourge is like a 370 pDPS claw (the exact value depends on your other gear too) so it's already pretty good. I think the best thing for you would be to keep the scourges and get 30% quality on them.

You can get 28% from a Syndicate bench and 30% from a bestiary corruption. Glad you like it.

I stumbled upon this guide after realizing I had no achievements for Duelist. I haven't played ST since Scion was introduced years ago and I am having a lot of fun with it.
