" You'll need another crafted weapon with double gain #% phys, that dagger isnt that good. You can either craft a base yourself with jagged, prismatic and aetheric fossils or buy a base with the two gain #% phys already on it or try to annul a base down to the two mods. A perfect base cost around 10-12ex atm. I believe, so the complete weapon will end up costing around 14-15ex |

It's my first season and through the recommendation of a friend I went with this build. It went great so far however at T15/T16 I keep getting oneshot by bosses. All my jewels have 7% HP and my resists are capped (Total 5,7k life). Not sure what I should change. This is my char: https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/Keepitdown/characters I got around 4 exalts atm, originally I was saving up for inpulsas, however I'm not really sure if that's the right choice.

" Based on your response - do you believe that that sort of investment (i.e. ~30ex) is required to clear uber elder? I did red elder with 2x divinarius and upgraded to: for shaper - these were all I could afford, currently have about 2ex and 120c. I'm holding off doing uber elder at the moment because I get the feeling that my dps will be too low? |

" I wouldnt say you need it for uber elder, but it makes it way easier if you cant do the encounter without making mistakes.. The weapons is a huuuge dps upgrade, but an experienced player should be able to do uber elder without the weapons. |

Really curious on what weapons mods benefit us the most. I see most people focusing on getting dual gain %physical as extra fire/cold/lightning shaper weapons. Does it matter what element it grants extra damage as? Is one element superior? I've bought a few weapons and had them turn out to not even be upgrades on what I currently have, how do you judge that? Must be some way in POB? Can someone explain that to me?
Which other stats are good? Which stats are useless? Global physical damage Increase physical damage. BV is physical before we covert and I see huge rolls on weapons for this, but yet no one uses this, why? Increased elemental damage? We do physical damage that is converted to elemental, so does this even effect us? Elemental penetration? Do mobs typically have at least 10-20% resists meaning this is a straight damage boost? % of Elemental damage as chaos damage, this seems to be an arc build thing? Will this work for us since BV is physical? I remember in d3 you ideally wanted to have your crit chance and multiplier balanced 1:10, is that the same in this game? Is there anything about the weapon type that effects us besides which movement skills you can use, and which implicit they come with? So far with what I learned, if I was to craft the perfect weapon it would be shaper apex rapier or golden Kris or platinum Kris with: Gain 20% physical as lightning/fire Gain 20% physical as cold Crafted on prefix gain 6% of non-chaos damage as chaos damage + gain spell damage Crafted suffix global crit chance or crit chance for spells Crafted suffix global crit multi or crit multi for spells Am I way off base? What ilvl item do I need to do this? This game is so overwhelming! :o |

" Bought the shaper ring and a pair of boots with better resists for when I lose my rings, plus a pair of divinarius. Now to save up for an amulet and a body piece to cover the rest of the resists and life! Any more suggestions are welcome! Plus three abyssal jewels, each with ~30 life and altogether about 19-87 extra mixed elemental damage. And for later! [Edit] Swapped one of the rings straight over to the shaper and also recrafted the belt to a flat +% cold resistance. Sitting at 105%, 87% and 88%. " elemental damage as extra chaos is the best but it can roll only on daggers. Double t1 extras on a sword will be slightly better due to the implicit. Generally you'd want a weapon with double extra rolls/spell crit/crit multi/non-chaos craft Flat ele dmg is pretty weak in comparison. " Increased physical damage on weps does nothing since it's a local modifier and you don't attack with weapons as a spell caster. Increased elemental damage is decent but be careful to not go for the elemental damage with attacks which is useless for spells. Same for pen. " Yes, it works. I don't know anything about d3 but in poe there is a crit chance cap and with an increased crit gem, full power charge, diamond flask you can come close to it effectively and for multi the more the better. " Yes that's pretty much it. For dagger you'd want ilvl 85 min so you can get the t1 chaos roll and for rapier ilvl 83 min for t1 pen mod.
