People pretending to be AFK.

This has been getting worse over the past few leagues with pricefixers pretending afk too.
We need personal shops in our hideouts so other people could visit and actually buy stuff on sale instead of have some smug hooligan stand there with a pricetag and and item but refusing to initiate a trade. "look at this item, I'm selling it for this much!" as they proceed to /Afk/DND themselves. |

" That happens because poe.trade is sometimes slow to update, so your item still shows up in search results. You should still reply to these people to let them know its sold, rather than leave them waiting for a response (since obviously they know your active - no auto-AFK reply) and appearing to be a dick. |

Time to give up trading if you can't accept the rules of it. Current implementation doesn't allow players to 'play' and 'trade'. You have to do one or the other. GGG needs to fix that.

ok I'll admit it, I do this... but most of the time I would be courteous and say "sorry not selling" or the like.
Reason? I just want to play the game... organising my stash and finding out appropriate prices for things takes way too long. So if I pick up something I think is valuable, it might be worth an ex... but I just throw it in my 10c stash tab because that's where I have some space. If I get like 5 requests in a short period of time I know I've priced it too low so then I would properly look up the item and price it correctly. |
