I realize I'm probably a huge idiot and over-looking something, but I just CANNOT get this to work as advertised. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Finally tried the MoM version. Compared to the Grace version it is definitively a lot more tankish. Could finally do Shaper deathless. Still have to learn better the Elder and Uber Elder fight. The first I still die once at the very least. The second they totally crush me.
A hint on Uber Elder: if you can't throw trap, then don't try to. Focus on dodging Shaper spells. Don't bother placing the black balls down, they'll just follow you slowly like little puppies :p And remember to throw traps when there's no target around, also! to keep the regen going
Thanks for the advice. The problem I think is that I did not know well the mechanics of the red tier elder, and I got surprised a pair of times by his attacks. I have been practicing a pair of elders and finally I can do it deathless too.
Just after I get to 96 I am going to try this again.

This video explains the fight in detail. Btw, I think there's not much to gain after 95, so tiny gain that I didn't even bother losing my 50% to lvl96 to learn the fight. There's also a report of a kill at lvl89 , FYI. But it's up to you, of course :D I'm done with the game after 5 kills out of 5 attempts :D got bored because I think the fight is so easy. Got high hope that I would have bricked some sets before my 1st kill ever, but I weren't. so GL :D

No, just misread and we always are :D because this game can be confusing sometimes :P yup, it makes your life bar raises to full 50% faster, not making your life regen 50% more :D

You need to throw traps, that gives regen. Alone, you dont have enough regen to counter the blood rage. The pantheon isnt giving you more.
The idea is to being 'fighting' when it procs. The added regen per triggered trap (read pyromaniac in ascendancy).
i'm sorry but i don't know what should i aim for when i look at your gear especially between helmet and gloves. I mean which one should i prioritize because there are 3 variants of rares gear ? Also which enchant is the best ?

Unique: Shimmeron x2 -> Loreweave 80% (can put Arc in +1 trap gloves for 5L, ppl killed Uber Elder with 5L already, so 6L chest is not mandatory, the 80% roll is)
Rares: Gloves with +1trap (super cheap now) -> Helmet -> Boots
Helmet: for starter use a helmet with high Life -> then use a Temple helmet (phys dmg taken as cold/fire/lightning) -> then if you want to invest more, use a shaped helmet with "+lightning damage to spells" and "trap and mine damage"
Every slot of equipments should have 70+ of life.
When dps is 40k+ in PoB and around 5k+ life, you're ready for end-game. Lowest level player reported a kill is at lvl89

Well... it's not that I feel I need to be 96 for the fight. Just that I am at 70% exp and I would hate to lose all that :D I think it's worth the effort to wait a bit and get to 96, then learn the fight.
About the Elder fight, yeah, got it already, now I am doing red tier elder deathless the last 2 times, farming him a bit.
If I barely survive the uber elder fight, I will be happy, just want to for once manage to do the last content of a league during that league :D.
