[3.7] Unarmed Dominator, Max Block Facebreakers, Infinite Life Flasks, Shaper Viable

This build works great in Legion with the buffed Dominating Blow as well as the flat damage added to Reckoning and Riposte.

I just submitted my standard version as a Grandmaster.

Final Stats (using legacy Facebreakers, legacy Dom Blow Helm Enchant)
7k Life
21 Movespeed
Max Block w/ The Surrender
-60 Chaos resistance
Pure Physical Damage
52k - 118k Dominating Blow (supported with Block Chance Reduction)
23k - 53k Commandment of Force
78k - 137k Reckoning
141k - 249k Riposte

I went with my big guy monk MTX instead of the bear MTX, maybe he'll be more sneaky this way.

He is by no means min-maxed, but is now retired, if you see him in the map make sure to say hello.

Hi Aodui,

Great to see u back !
Blocking Gem definitely got a great buff
Do you have a POB for the new build?
Have you tired linking riposte to close combat?

Close Combat is limited to weapons only :(

Pulverize for Reckoning is good though.

I have not tried Cyclone yet, but Cyclone might be better game play than Dominating Blow -- either way Reckoning and Riposte do most of the work.

So I rerolled to test out how well this build works with my budget spikey gear variant, and at 65 I was able to easily do the Eternal Lab and alch and go red maps.

PoB damage is misleading because you can't see how much damage mobs do to themselves, but here is the pastebin: https://pastebin.com/kBgR4RS7

This variant uses life gain on reflect to stay alive and does most of its damage through reflect, riposte, and reckoning. Impale is great for riposte and reckoning as it means more life gained on hit for you (impale damage is reflect damage), but you honestly do not need more you can AFK and be fine.

This version is a lot cheaper, the only downside is clear speed.

Hi Aodui,

I tried this setup too.
Anvil give more consistant damage and the heal
Thousand teeth give a big swing damage, if you get the 1000 is a instant clear

When I saw your reckoning setup, was thinking "The surrender" shield with Pulverise + Brutality + concentrated effect.

Aodui, do you think we can do a half screen or full screen reckoning if we add "increased Area of Effect" like those slayer cyclon build?

I did a 6 link for Riposte and slot them in a level 1 Maim aroumr
Any suggestion what is the best gem link?

I test with
Carcass Jack Varnished Coat + increase area of effect + Pulverise + REckoning gem setup, the range and coverage is excellent.
really like your Version ! i also made a similar build.

The Surrender is just so damn good :D

Did Hydra with pretty S*** Gear on my LvL 80 Gladiator :D

Nice! I added Purifying Flame in my cyclon as setup with CWC to create Consecrated Ground as cyclon spin and move.

For delve I used a body armour 6 link Riposte with cast on melee kill + Purifying Flame
Is the helm enchantment (dominating blow damage) removed?
With that removed, how do I increase my dominating blow damage?

I am far from 95 level but I do have all the equipments already, well not all the jewels yet as I dont have enough jewel slots in the tree yet.

My dom blow damage only goes up to about 50k 60k with maim, brutality, melee phy, ruthless, faster support.

But somehow reckoning can go up to 100k.

Forgive me as I have not yet done with my pob so I could not link it.

Overall, its a cool build and its fun to play. Thanks for the build.

Yup it is gone.

The two perfect Warden's Bands are pretty essential, unless you get mirror level steel rings instead.

The damage mostly comes from flat damage being amplified through Facebreakers, so a neck with more flat damage will see huge gains.

Specifically, Abyssus + Warden's Band x2 + Blood Grip + 1 abyss jewel = 87 to 195 physical damage.

The nodes on the tree, plus The Nomad (40), and Gruthkul's Pelt (100), combined are around 440% increased damage.

As long as you have around 80 to 190 flat phys damage, and 380% increased phys damage, you'll end up in the 100k punch range on a six link.
