Also, why do Unstoppable vs. Unyielding?

Unstoppable is key to the build. The only way you can really die is to stop leeching. The easiest way to stop leeching is to be frozen.

With unstoppable you can not be slowed or frozen.

Unyielding is excellent for building with 8-10 endurance charges but this build only has 4 (if you follow the original post).

a mid-lvl CWDT with
Molten Shell. All seems to work OK and am at Lvl 86. Question if I dual wield Grelwoods, will that proc 2 more magma balls/projectiles?

yes, if you dual wield the Grelwoods, you get 4 extra balls. You also get the benefit of the extra armor as well.

I have not tried it yet but a few in this thread have dropped the shield to dual wield and they seem to have liked it.

I have a question on the tree.

You spend 3 points to get the jewel socket below Berserking.

That = 2 Strengths and the Socket.

Would it be better to spend those three points below Lava Lash instead?

You get two Melee Damage nodes and the socket.

Thanks. Guess I've been lucky and haven't received a hard freeze, although Delving has been close a couple of times. Just seemed like 5% increased damage per endurance charge (and likely running with 4 most of the time for a 20% increased, other than when Immortal Call procs) was a nice damage boost

Because of Avatar of Fire maybe? My POB only shows some minor Ignite dps using those nodes.

melee dmg doesnt boost the balls dps.
on the other hand, str does with iron grip.
also str is more life.
i dont have xophs or avatar of fire. would it be worth regretting the 3 nodes to get lava lash, for the 3 nodes it would take to get to avatar of fire?

Thanks! That makes a lot of sense.
Since I can't afford a good tomb fists right now I am going with a rare set of gloves which gives me room for Flammability.

I don't know how much it is doing but things feel good.
