[3.4] Ghost in the Delve - Permanent Phasing Cold Cyclone QOTF. 1M+ Dps for bossing.

Nice build, had to craft decent weapon self, was a pain, what to focus on to up damage thou ?

Was about 2000ish alterations som regals some anul orbs (rngsus) and master mod 2ex.

Upped my damage about 30% thou so was worth it, made an weapon like mine in Path of building and checked it before crafting it.

Just a quick heads up for anyone trying to craft a Gemini Claw with fossils. I ended up crafting with just Frigid through 1 socket resonators. With 500 used (.5c per resonator, .4c per fossil = about 450c spent) I hit the cold damage per dex mod twice.

If you wanna go the alt spam and master mod route, you're looking at about 2,000 alts to hit the mod.

The bonus of fossil crafting is you can get cold pen, ele damage, and +cold pretty easily. The bonus of master modding is it can be cheaper and you will guarantee the mods you want, at lesser values.
what HP are you guys sitting at? I'm only 86 but I don't see me topping off much higher than 4.7k... I don't have a ton of experience in late game stuff. Isn't that too low for deep delves (~400) or stuff like Shaper or am I overthinking it?

What use fossil name?

Why Avatar of the Slaughter instead of Avatar of the Chase? Chase is evasion while Slaughter is damage (which is also good)
Ive found this build to be very fun and prosperous. I did some tweaking to get near capped dodge chances after only popping a Quartz Flask. I did lose a bit of damage, but i still seem to be killing a fair bit. I also look like an angel. Ive been trying to craft a better claw but i cant seem to roll that mod to save my life. any tips?

I've played this build all league (Delve 300, Red Elder, Guardians) and I'd thought I'd mention some of my experience using it for anyone who might read this and be interested in how it plays. I'm also curious if other people had similar experiences with it, or ideas on how to improve it.

tl;dr: fun build, life pool is too low

The Good
The build itself is pretty fun, and well-suited to Delves, especially because not having to worry about collision while quickly checking side areas is truly wonderful.

If you like the weird side of Path of Exile builds that rely on the interactions of numerous uniques, jewels, and passives, then this build does that. I toyed with the idea of doing a perma-Onslaught Ahn's Heritage build since I first came across the shield, and I am quite happy that it has fulfilled my meme dreams.

It scales rather nicely (at least on the damage side) with investment, and Starkonja's is a common enough enchant base that you can find good Starkonja's with Cyclone enchantments on trading sites. In 3.4, none of the items involved were in such high demand that they were unreasonably expensive to purchase (except for maybe a decent Gemini Claw with Dex-scaling +Cold).

Clearing trash with this build is super chill, just hold down Cyclone and go. You barely notice the movement speed penalty when you are sitting at +120% increased movement speed and no-collision.

The build's evasion defenses are pretty good, and there are easily accessible ways to make them more reliable (including corruptions on the boots, the Watcher's Eye with the +dodge on Grace, etc.). I currently have something like 88% hit prevention (92% with Blind), which is quite nice for most mobs.

The Bad
This build has two problems that I consider to be pretty fatal.

The first one is the fact that you are running uniques in your Helm, Chest, Shield, Boots, Belt, and possibly Amulet. This leaves you your Claw, Gloves, Rings, and maybe Amulet to resistance fix while still procuring damage mods. You will be hard-pressed to get your resistances to the cap of 78% (and even harder pressed to get them to the threshold of 111% where you can ignore Elemental Weakness). Obviously, it is possible to solve this, but it can get quite expensive, especially if you want damage mods on any of your rare gear.

The problem that I have been trying to solve with little to no avail is that this build, fully geared, with decent life rolls on my rares, has a health pool of only 4.8k (which seems to match the amount the author has in their Path of Building link). This is a completely unacceptable amount of life. You can, and will, get one shot by trash, and in leagues (such as Delve) that place an increasing emphasis on not dying, this can get frustrating fast. This is partly a gearing problem (too many uniques with middling life rolls), but part of it is also that you only get 158% increased life on the tree, which feels awfully low.

The life problem and the resistance problem combine rather nastily to produce a need for really expensive rares to make-up for all of the uniques you're running, and this is not even counting the fact that you need to get both Strength (159 for Ahn's Heritage) and Intelligence (121 for a Gemini Claw), as well as damage mods.

If anyone has any ideas for how to solve the life issue, I'd love to hear them. It is my only real issue with this build (because I have enough money where the resistances are not a concern). My passive tree is identical to the one listed in the OP, and my current gear is presented below.

Spoiler

can you past the pastepin of Iron reflexes version please
Hey boss, think this build will still work in 3.5? If so, think a 5L QOTF would work, or should I stop being cheap and fork over the 3ex?
