So much difference in DPS - stuck on progress
Tornado shot is very hard to calculate the DPS of. In-game tooltip isn't even close, and even in PoB I believe the number is based off a single projectile. With good placement of where you aim tornado shot, you can hit bosses once from each projectile. Since you have dying sun + helmet enchant + GMP, your actual single target DPS is multiplied by at least 8, probably more. Ditch faster attacks and add mirage archer (another gem you can't easily calculate the DPS of, but trust me you'll notice the difference).
Ultimately, the single target dmg of tornado shot is never going to compare to barrage or ele hit. TS is the king of multiscreen map clearing and zoom zoom farming. Sure, a fully optimized barrage build is going to blow your single target DPS out of the water, but will still clear maps way slower. It really depends what your goals are in the game. If you're trying to kill uber elder its gonna be pretty damn hard with TS (although I'm sure somebody has done it). Since you already have far shot from your ascendancy, you can definitely increase your DPS by switching to a higher physical damage weapon, although lioneye's is still quite good. Chin sol + point blank is kind of the holy grail for single target dps but isn't good for map clear. I don't understand why you'd run herald of thunder + wrath when you're converting to fire/cold. Hatred + herald of ice would probably work better. It looks your abyss jewels are mainly optimized for an elemental build, I think you'd probably be better off using your windripper + rigwalds unless you want to change jewels around. If you're going to go full phys conversion you need flat phys, attack speed, crit, crit multi, etc, not ele dmg rolls. If you can accord 6L windripper, rigwald's quills and starkonja's w/ TS enchant, you can definitely afford better rings/amulet. Try to get more stats on your gear so you can respec out of the +30 nodes and put them somewhere else. |
