[3.25] Scourge Arrow Poison Prolif Pathfinder - Fast, tanky, fun to play
" I would definitely rush King of the Hill, and otherwise, its either more life or more damage. But the knockback from king of the hill is great QoL, keeps enemies away (and we can knock them out of corners too, in some cases). And also, ofc, it adds a lot of damage. " Haha, thanks. Its mostly just because I am a bit bored so I am reading replies here :d My builds: https://pobb.in/u/thedeathbeam My site: https://mapsofexile.com/ Última edição por thedeathbeam#7125 em 30 de jul de 2019 05:05:00

Yo im doing this build and i wonder if enchant in helmet with 1 more pod is better than 40% more scourge arrow dmg. If so is there a big difference?
|
|
" It is just 40% increased damage and not 40% more, and also applies only to hits so for us, small damage boost. It would not be worth either way, but in general, 40% increased damage enchants are not worth on any build unless you are min maxing (and there is no better enchant). For SA, the +1 pod is awesome, and imo something to aim for, because it improves the skill by miles. And also, increases single target damage by quite a bit if you manage to hit all 6 pods on boss. (but just for the QoL when mapping, it is 100% worth it over any other enchant for SA). If you can't afford the +1 pod for SA, i would honestly not bother with the 40% increased damage one, and just get decent helmet in meantime, and just save up for +1. So, afer re-buying my character, and playing on it again, I gave some thought to Divine Flesh instead of Wind Dancer + Kintsugi. I am still testing it on my current char, but so far, it looks like survivability-wise, it is pretty strong too (and a bit more reliable). But the main selling point for me currently is that without Kintsugi, I was able to now just aim for lvl 1 Maim chest with a lot of life.
Also, people in this thread asked me quite a few times what to upgrade after getting the core gear. And the answer was, most of the time, I don't know, because there was only so much upgrades to do. But with rare chest, this opens up options for like lvl 1 Maim, attacks have +% to crit chance, socketed attacks have -15 to mana cost (freeing rings a bit, so then also ability to get more damage from rings etc), what would be, at least for me, very welcome change, because it is always frustrating to not be able to do some noticeable upgrades after a while. And with bench crafts, capping chaos res was not that hard too. So I think in next few days, I will probably update the build to migrate to Divine Flesh setup. For mapping I still find Kintsugi + Wind Dancer more reliable, because I can just dodge literally everything, with this and slightly lower evasion, I am also noticing a bit more frequent hits, but the damage reduction is making them fine. Opinions on this migration from people reading this guide are more than welcome as well. Here is current WIP PoB with Divine Flesh I was working on (mostly the difference is more life, chaos resistance, more damage, as I added maim chest I am using atm, but it is down to only 25k evasion and now with rare boots, also slightly less spell dodge chance): https://pastebin.com/xcjBVhX6 My builds: https://pobb.in/u/thedeathbeam My site: https://mapsofexile.com/ Última edição por thedeathbeam#7125 em 30 de jul de 2019 16:34:15

Im a bit newer to the game. considered it a massive achievemnt this season killing atziri and uber lab for the first time ever.
can you really reach 5 mil dps with this build? putting it in pob im getting nowhere near. also was wondering if assassin crit version would be viable. thank you! |
|
" Oh yes, definitely, and probably even more if you would really want to. The issue with PoB currently is that it do not supports some of the very important mods this build is using (mainly the one on Darkscorn, giving us basically 60% more damage). Because of this, I had to input these mods as custom mods on Darkscorn. For the Assassin crit version, yeah it could be, the build would just lose most of it clear potential because of no poison prolif. But I think Assassin would have more damage (because of poison duration scaling and crits he has). But, it would be weaker and very long poisons on Assassin, so in real fight application, the DPS would proably feel worse. So, after some more testing, decided to switch the build from Wind Dancer to Divine Flesh. Changelog:
- Replaced Kintsugi with rare maim body - Replaced Wind Dancer with Divine Flesh - Replaced Atziri Step with rare ms + spell dodge boots - Updated guide with changes after changing keystone As I said before, this opens a lot of options for min-maxing, also gives us slightly more life (because of more life on body), a lot of damage reduction and synergy. And of course, if you do not have enough chaos resistance, I added small section about just taking Wind Dancer before capping chaos res, as it is still very strong with this build. Updated PoB is already in main post. EDIT: I decided to also for now leave also pastebin link to Kintsugi build in main post for people following that version My builds: https://pobb.in/u/thedeathbeam My site: https://mapsofexile.com/ Última edição por thedeathbeam#7125 em 31 de jul de 2019 12:57:14

" The Kintsugi w/ wind dancer is very good, however after checking out mathill's poison scourge arrow, the synergy of darkscorn w/ the divine flesh jewel is just busted. And yes the dps is comparable tbh to the orginal of OP Kintsugui poison scourge arrow. But after my countless attempt to make a "Tankish" Pathfinder Scourge arrow build, the divine flesh with dark scorn is just crazy good. I have done both yours, then Mathill's, but did a little fine tuning to both, and even though the tanky part is already taken care of, the Dps is Just excellent. Also would like to say WB to the build again. lol. Hope to see this build become the next meta and to see some good ideas in the near future. It is indeed VERY fun to play. This sentiment was summed up by a member of our design team who recently said "We don't want to take away the feeling of closing your eyes and Exalting an item, scared to see whether you ruined it or not." Would a corrupted drillneck with bow attacks fire an additional arrow be worth trying to get?
