[3.15] 1h Impale Cyclone Slayer. Cheap league starter and strong endgame farmer. No required items.

Can you give me some advice on what to upgrade next? Can't seem to get to level 79 because of things randomly 1 shotting me. Not sure if its because I dont have acrobatics or my gear is just bad. Both my swords are 460 pDPS also. It appears I only do around 450k dps in PoB under my character Angelic granted I just threw flasks onto my bar.

I noticed that in POB your Savior has an additional mod edited into it: 100% more damage.

Is that your way of calculating the DPS from the reflections?

I plan to start 3.10 with this build. I'm testing it right now and I'm seriously loving it.

However I'm far from convinced by Perforate from lv1. It does the job ok, but I really don't like it that much.

What other melee gem/skill do you guys suggest until lv28 and cyclone? I'm thinking of molten strike atm but have no idea if it's any good these days (last time I played it was betrayal...). Else I'm thinking to start with totems, but this is unknown territory.

Any suggestion is welcome :)

In my opinion Perforate has the best compromise of single target and clearing especially so when you get blood/sand stance.

Cleave is usually another skill people like but I dont like the small range of it.

Other than that most skills are decent, Ground Slam, Sunder, Double Strike, Frost Blades, Reave, Lacerate being the most viable ones.

With that said if you like another skill such as Molten Strike or even Ancestral Warchief totem then by all means go for that.

No longer! The minus mana mod is now an ELDER mod so despite fossil crafting in many ways being nerfed, the plus to it is that now you can awakener orb the minus mana mod onto an explodey chest!

viable as a league starter? though there is no leveling for a new league, leveling items are twink.

With the patch notes out and impale not getting touched, will you update your build for this league? Or will you league start with sth. else?

I tried SSF with this to check out if it's leaguestart viable and had trouble switching to the cyclone setup. (MB switch to it way later than lvl 30?)
Also it seems like the build really depends on your weapons early on. Once it gets going its incredible. Any other weapons recommendations except scaevia early on? In general, what was your league start strat with this build and what items were key first?

I remember as well that you tested out other ascendancies (Champion f.e) How did that turn out in the end?

The CWDT setup with immortal call is still the way to go? Or would you sraight go for Vaal-Moltenshell-CWDT-Flame golem? I'm not sure if the CWDT MS overrides the Vaal molten shell

And last question: Which Auras would you prefer first? (When no enlighten is available)

I plan to fix as much as I can when I get home. Patch notes came out 10min before work.

With that said this will definitely be a strong league starter both for trade and SSF. SSF requires more knowledge on when its worth to upgrade weapons but other than that its the standard life/resist from level 1 to 100.

I didnt properly league start with Cyclone since legion so it is possible that you need to wait a few gem levels for Cyclone to get the stages, I cant tell you exactly when unfortunately but another strong option is Earthquake using a 2 hander. You get the 5th stage however at gem level 11 wich you need level 52 for, so you can just switch to Cyclone when you swap to pure phys at level 50 like it says in the levelling section.

Personally Im really excited for the wand stuff so thats what Im league starting. It will most likely be shit however so theres a big chance I just abandon it and level this build instead. Worth mentioning is that I Will play SSF this league.
