After 2 leagues with this build I honestly thing the -20 more damage kills the DPS of the build for league start.

Oh you're right. Also Dervish got +1. That 7% extra block is a huge change. It allows you to use only one block sword, or even no block sword if you get some block chance elsewhere. I'll update the guide to reflect that. It's a major change and a big buff to the build.

I disagree about the damage. Check PoB. With the use of forceful skewering I only lose 5%. And not having to find block swords helps a lot at league start and can potentially give you even more damage as you don't need block on both (or even any) of your swords!

So glad to know that, gonna do a try run today with an already crafted 7 % block chance sword just to ''simulate'' that node.

BTW how is just 5% less damage? I admit I dont understand POE mechanics at all, but I thought 20 %more was OP and we lost 20%directly , like berserker having 40 more in one ascendancy.

In order to simulate it you'll need to use two block swords. This will give you the same block as you'll get with one sword in 3.11. Ideally 9% + 7% which in 3.11 (with just that 9% sword) will get you to 77% and violent retaliation will immediately get you to 79%.

About the damage I admit I was wrong. I though PoB was updated but it's not. We'll need to wait for the exact numbers. It won't be 20% but not the 5% I mentioned either. I estimate it at around 16%.

However you'll now be able to use one or even two normal swords so getting higher DPS from them should make up that loss. This depends on what swords you already had of course. In my case I already have high DPS block swords so it'll be expensive to replace them even with non-block swords. But for temp leagues this makes it a lot easier to get high DPS weapons.

Is everything updated for 3.11 in the pob?

Well the only change is forceful skewering. Other than that there's really nothing to update. I'm waiting for PoB to integrate the dual wield nerf and then I'll upload a new one.

The builds is simple enough. No complicated mechanics. You just need to understand block.
If this is your first time playing the game maybe you should start with an Arc Witch. There's a 500+ page beginner thread there that will help you get to know the game.
