i played "highlife" -Icicle last league, you could get bonkers ammount of health (somewhat near 9k health w\o Kaoms Heart) and armor (for that phat VMS ;) ) and had enough damage to clear most of the content, even t16 metas. But LL is just way too much "free" damage you are missing, only thing that im worried about LL/CI that you dont anywhere near decent ammount of armor to survive those "i blinked and died" physical projectiles or melee swings :( .

Mostly because the ring that makes Pyroclast good, Astral Projector, is really expensive this league

It's almost affordable now - below 10 ex... used to be 60 ex the first week. Never played Pyroclast Mines, how is it compared to Ball lightning? Is it worth investing the 10 ex for the ring?

Yeah, swapped to LL as soon as i figured how the LL builds work, took a while but it was zooming after. This league i started Life/Es hybrid and now i got "decent" CI going, many upgrades still to purchase (Mitts, Ecnahnted helm, Mark of the Shaper etc.) and the damage seems to be more than enough for the content that im currently doing....
Thats kinda impressive how you get like 10k ES on LL, im having like 7.5k currently on CI widepeepoSad

Do you have a ball park estimate? Ive seen one at 100ex, but way above my budget for now.

Do you see any possible synergy with energy from naught because I can't justify spending at least 5 nodes just for a little bit of extra ES when 2 jewels provide much more DPS benefits.
