Elemental reflection is the one map I really would skip with this build. You can invest some reduced elemental refleceted damage taken but I think it is not worth it and would just skip that map mode.

Hey, I've been using cremation in this league, but i'm running with Chieftain. I have a consideration to do about Sire Of Shards: it's a little bit out of hand because of the sockets color.. Getting 5G 1B would cost A LOT of chromatics, so I didn't even tried. I was running self-cast Cremation with Sire and just switched, still trying it out. By now it feels so much better to clear, but a little bit slower to kill boss. Finally, I have a question: U're using armageddon brand to single target damage?

Yes I use armageddon brand mainly to increase single target dps but also while clearing for harder enemies. With the cwdt brand recall the brand get recalled while cycloning through enemies.

Why would sire of shards increase the clear speed? Normally I cyclone through the maps and more or less everything in a screen range more or less just dies.

Short update

I ended up playing a different variant but used your build as a guideline. I went with Inquisitor instead of Necro which gives me less block but a ton more damage. Since I can ignore elemental penetration I went for assassins mark and Sire of shards. Sitting at nearly 7k life without jewels and clearing T16s easily at level 83. I died three times so far and two of those were clearly my fault. Char cost me about 3-4 Ex to set up and kills Metamorphs in seconds (spawning adds really wrecks it). On Inquisitor an amulet with fire damage leeched as life really helps with staying alive. With jewels and some gear upgrade I think I can hit 8k hp on lvl 90. If anyone plans to try this build getting lvl 21 spell gems really helps a ton. They cost 5c and 2c so just get them^^.

Sounds pretty good! Why have you decided to go with Sire of Shards? I have not been able to test it yet. The math tells that it is less damage but still everyone use it with cremation. Does it change the pattern of projectiles so more projectiles can hit a single target?

You don't have the less damage multiplier from GMP and with Inquisitor you ignore elemental resistance on crit and since it is a crit build...

I noticed that the explosions are better for area clear and the projectiles are better for boss damage. Even with Conc Effect my map clear feels pretty good.
Single target is nice on metamorphs but could be better on bosses without adds.
I am still using Kaom's Heart but maybe I'll switch to a fossil crafted shaper or elder chest soon. First I wanted to see if the build works on a budget.

I think as a league starter or hardcore variant I would choose Necro. For bigger budget and general SC I would prefer Inquisitor. Chieftain would be even cheaper but would fall off in the endgame.

Weapon was ~2Ex and Amulet 1Ex if I remember correctly. Rest was under 30c each mostly 10c.

With Necromancer with always chill out enemies so Hypothermia is a very strong multiplier for this build.

Just curious if Inpulsa's Broken Heart would work with Avatar of Fire and Corpse Pact? I currently have Avatar of Fire on my Xoph's Blood. Was thinking of buyign a 6 link Inpulsa. Copse pact ensure's we are always shocking so that looks like a 40+ % damage boost right off the bat. Then the 2.5% of their life explode as fire. Or would i be better of just getting a 6 link with more armor life and resist.

Inpulsa would definitely but i felt survivability is more important but I guess that is a matter of taste.
