You're reserving 100% mana, you won't be able to use frenzy with this setup. Even with the helm links, you're unable to use Frenzy, I even have a level 3 enlighten.

You must have something setup incorrectly with reduced mana reservation jewels? I checked the POB and both the budget and low-life version have no issues with mana reservation. If you're going with the min-maxed version, then you will need to replicate all reduced mana reservation jewels on the tree for it to work.

EDIT: Taking a look at your profile, it looks to be missing the reservation node near scion and the conqueror's efficiency near witch. I'm not sure if the POB you were looking at was screwed up, so here is the pastebin for the previous version of the build: https://pastebin.com/5V2W0LQN. The build has since been updated slightly with a Spellslinger + Frostbolt + Enfeeble + Temporal Chains setup in the gloves.

Do not use coldsnap anymore?

Yeah, no more cold snap in the 3.11 version. It has since been replaced with just Frostbite + Spellslinger. The extra gem slots are then utilized for a Frenzy + Greater Multiple Projectiles + Curse on Hit + Frostbite. This allows you to utilize any rings you want, rather than being constrained to a frostbite on hit ring and also opens up the option for SSF.

If you are able to get a frostbite on hit ring, then you can swap out frostbite in the link setup for cold snap.

I wonder what is your definition of "low budget".

Not a TS but here in low budget you only have cheap uniques with the thread of hope being most expensive ~40c. Rare items can go up in price easily as always.

No fear, I have since added a new tree in the league starter/budget variation that is titled "Mega budget." Take a look at that if you want to spend about 5 to 10C or a few seconds of picking items off the ground.

First off, i love this build, im leveling with it right now and cant wait to try it in maps.

My question is if Apep's Supremacy is a very good defensive option for the CI variation of this build?

Glad you're enjoying it! Absolutely, Apep's with its "faster start of energy shield recharge" is very synergistic for the CI variation. It wasn't included in the budget/CI option since they're usually pretty pricey, but is probably one of the strongest shields for CI outside of a reduced mana reservation + ES on block.

I probably wouldn't recommend playing this build in hardcore, because the primary sustain is ES recharge which can get dicey at times. With that said, and you're dead-set on a SSFHC version of this build, glancing blows would be mandatory. As an option, here is a POB for a more defensive setup: https://pastebin.com/M0g0p1bC

Thank you for kind answer.I'm addicted to hardcore game.
I will play as carefully as possible.
thx ssfhc version POB :D
Can you take a look at my character and tell me where I went wrong?

4366 Energy Shield and I feel like a wet paper bag. The dmg isn't horrible, but I can hardly get in range to cast at them without being killed. Highest I've ran is T6 on this and was dieing instantly. T2-3 i get melted quickly but could stay alive.

Resistances all maxed (aside from chaos)

Your tree looks good and the items you have are generally what you want; however, the ES rolls on them are very low.

Overall, you can increase your ES from ~4.4k -> ~7.1k by doing the following:

-Upgrade chest from a 155 ES rare -> ~430-450 ES Beast Fur Shawl (yes it makes you take 5% increased damage, but the ratio of ES you gain versus how much more damage you take is well beyond 5%). Additionally, it's okay to have a rare ~400 ES chest that helps you fill resistances with a 5L (8-50C).
-Upgrade boots from 41 ES rare -> ~120+ ES rare with better res (5-10C).
-Upgrade helm from 133 ES -> ~200+ ES rare with better res (5C). Upgrade helm to Rime Gaze once you grab the reservation nodes by Templar (1C).
-Upgrade level 7 discipline to level 17-18 (3-4C).
-Swap out rings to balance res (2-10C).
-POB: https://pastebin.com/E8SQyKbi

On a final note, I would look at your gem link setups to try and align them better with the POB for the CI version. I see that you have Spellslinger + Frostbolt + Bonechill + Creeping Frost in one. Ideally, you'd want to separate those two out for Spellslinger + Frostbolt + unlinked Discipline. Then have a separate setup for Spellslinger + Creeping Frost + Bonechill + Efficacy/Hypothermia. Take a look at the Frenzy Curse on Hit setup as well, should have Frenzy + GMP + enfeeble/temporal chains/frostbite + curse on hit.

Hope this helps, good luck!
