Personally I didn't take skill points required for jewels(rare one/transcendent flesh) while had not enough of them, also I guess you can drop written in blood and mystic bulwak and won't feel a big difference. You can run zealotry / anger 15% reduced enchant with herald of ash on blood magic. Those are quite a bit cheaper. I didn't go low life until level 90 There's quite a bit of flexibility and the build still feels good to play even without the perfect end game setup.
