Is there a reason we don't use Ruthless support instead of, say, Awakened Melee Physical Damage or Volatility? 100% more damage with ailments every 3rd strike looks really good. When I try it on Meta Gear Pob; when replaced with Awakened Melee Physical Damage Support, DPS reduces from 24.5m to 15.9m, when replaced with Volatility, DPS reduces to 15.5m. Same goes for Required Gear.

I see. Looking closer Ruthless support says it only supports strike or slam skills, I guess that's why. Thanks for checking!

Yeah, that's why. I completely skipped that part. Lacerman build actually had Ruthless in the past, and it changed to Slam and Strike with the death of Lacerman 1 in 3.15.

Edit: Yeah, actually it was still present in "Even Further Upgrades" version of Meta Gear when Lacerman 1 died. You can find 3.14 and 3.13 Pobs of Lacerman 1 Required, Meta, and Even Further Upgrades gears in the special Pob I have created for you to both celebrate its 2nd year, and the end of it click here. Then it became Lacerman 2 in 3.25. You can also find Sunderman Pobs specific to 3.10 and 3.9, and the whole history of Lacerman there, along with 2 gifts I have dedicated to you.🙂

I have good news! Patch notes had an update after release, and Soul Taker now has %25-35 increased Attack Speed instead of the previous %20-25! I just updated the Pob links. The DPS of Meta Gear is increased from 24.56m to 24.73m, and the Required Gear is increased from 7.99m to 8.05m. I will start tinkering with Pob right after they add runegrafting and mercenaries, and will release the first 3.26 update! Also, I will start playing the league this Sunday with a rush start to keep up with you in the shortest possible time, especially to complete and release our Mercenary guide and present you all the 3.26 updates as soon as possible.

Hi. I didn't update the Pob links until now because I thought the build had no changes in the 3.26 patch notes. I was going to update them for you, and realized GGG had a late addition to the patch notes about Soul Taker, which increased the DPS of both Pobs. They are updated now. I hope you enjoy the Lacerman 2 build!

Hey Man, just wanted to thank you so far for the guide.
Been smooth way to lvl all the way to maps.
Now getting more and more into higher tier maps with actually still pretty bad gear :P

Hi, and thx for this nice guide. Looking at other people playing a lacerate gladiator pretty much everyone goes for axe and shield (with some % or flat life on block).

What do you think about the build with axe/shield vs dual wield?
