[3.11] Cold BV PF Indigon ft. RF | All content done in HC! | Fast mapper, safe boss-killer
" I've done some research on that and wasn't able to find a conclusive answer from anyone, but on the wiki page about mitigation (https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Receiving_damage), blocking is listed at the end of the order of operations, after armour mitigation has been calculated, so my understanding is that there is no synergy there. " What flasks do you use while mapping? I've seen a lot of people cutting defensive flasks and it seems to squish up the build substantially. I think both granite of iron skin and balanced wise oak are important in the end. As for the whole discussion about Harvest-crafting, I honestly think this build is fine without it. I played the build in delirium and cleared all content in hardcore without dying till 99, even though in retrospect my character was substantially worse than this league. It wasn't just Harvest; supreme ego wasn't on the tree so damage was way worse, and there was no eternal youth/agnostic on the tree for easy access to divine flesh, so my skill tree was losing a bunch of points just for that. Obviously Harvest improves the quality of every rare, but I think the only pieces of gear that would really suffer without it are those that use an awakener's orb AND then force some other influence mods with Harvest, so basically the chest and the shield. For sure damage would go down on most pieces of gear (especially the sceptre), but that's true for almost any build, and I would argue that the core concept of indigon+mana flask+RF+cold conversion supreme ego is just strong for damage regardless of gear. " I've been enjoying the scion. I'm not sure which one I would recommend the most, although I guess the scion is even hardcore-tuned. It's got less pool, damage and speed but huge block so the tankiness feels insane on multi-hit content like delve. I think the scion tree with the double cluster setup makes a little bit more sense on that build, but it could be used on the PF, so if I had to do it again I might try that version of the tree on a PF. That thread of hope is indeed really cute and the second cluster gives a lot of good stuff, but the templar nodes are great as well (arcane capacitor is hard to replace, the 3 "divine" notables are great for the explochest), so I'm really not sure. I've tried other skills on this build last league, but not extensively. Admittedly my setups were scuffed but I was testing in tier 1s so that damage wouldn't matter, and I was not impressed. For mapping speed, I'm pretty sure BV is unmatched. After all, there's a reason why it's been a meta skill for elementalists long ago and for assassins recently. Also, the tree has easy access to skill duration, but not much access to cast speed, so BV is really convenient in that regard. Being able to fully convert to cold is also super important, so I'd eliminate candidates like storm burst and divine ire. GC self-cast is wack, and GC mines with indigon should totally work (Akane has been doing indigon BL mines for ages; just need to adapt the build to cold conversion) but it'd be a completely different build. I'm sure EK nova could work and clear really well, but it would take investment into other stats like proj speed and pierce/chain and it would be way worse at bosses. The bladefall/blade blast combo sounds like the opposite; it might be more damage than BV on bosses, I'm not really sure, but the clear would be slower. " As someone else pointed out, I went over it a little bit on page 14, but I would say that if both mapping and boss-killing is what you want then the PF should be a lot superior. This PF build is a safe boss-killer in hardcore, whereas BV assassin is very much a "don't get hit" build against bosses Última edição por Niedzwiedz#2968 em 25 de jul de 2020 15:15:55

" thx for your response! i think its not that easy to copy the double cluster tree for PF coz u have more skillpoints as scion compared to PF. @Asag i'd go PF anyday. u are super tanky, can facetank basicly every boss and u are not much slower comapred to assassin (im using phase run for mapping and that really speeds things up). the only "weakness" of the PF version in my opinion is that u (or me in that case) have trouble doing incursions and legion enounters in 100% delirious maps in the given time. besides that build is amazing and i really really love it :-) Última edição por bahnschranke#6444 em 25 de jul de 2020 15:57:28

Yeah, this build is quite insane. Completed fully juiced, fully scarab 100% delirium t16 with dangerous damage mods with 0 deaths and very impressive dps on kosis and fat dude. Definitely recommend and harvest is broken. Every single piece of rare gear is self crafted, minus the regular jewels.

Just managed to craft that shield for glancing blows. Basically spell block+life recovery on block. Will see how it goes. Atm have 75% and 60% block with rumi on which is pretty good.

Having fun with the build so far, just Awakened Orb'd my shield, think I got the short end of the stick.. First time crafting like this, so sorry in advance if it's taking me awhile to understand. I assume the Warcry Recovery Suffix and Strength Suffix are both un-removeable by harvest crafts because I don't see the target name, so my best option would be to try to annul at least one or both while keeping the frenzy charges and start to target/craft it from there, correct? |

This build is what i was looking for to push lvl 100 but with my Scion :D, with less than 10ex budget i can map easily and do every boss very slow but face tanking almost everything with block+MoM, really good build, love it

I crafted this based on your guide. Thank you very much. Crafting all my gears based on this guide, and after all ready I will start leveling the character. I have big hopes :) TY <3 |

Also - I happened to get a Bottled Faith to drop, and I've matched my build to yours so it's non-crit (also, I'm in softcore). Should I change to crit because of the drop? What should I sub out, wise-oak (so that I have taste of hate, bottled faith, granite, quiksilver, mana)?
Thanks in advance. |
