[3.11] Cold BV PF Indigon ft. RF | All content done in HC! | Fast mapper, safe boss-killer

For the belt slot, would you advise

1/%Cold damage+%damage against chilled ennemies? (With full elemental catalyst)

Or

2/% Damage against chilled ennemies + Bench crafted % flask effect?

I'd go with the flask effect. It seems to be about half the damage increase of another damage mod, but also improves movement speed, mitigations, and life/mana sustain
Hi !
Build is just sick in PoB.I'm looking on your 3.10 char. Scepter you have there was bought or crafted?

If crafted it was just alt spam for hatred effect+lucky aug=>regal=>multi Craft ?

What would be the best way to craft scepter close to this DMG-wise in non harvest league?

Looking to league start this or bv chieftan next league. For sure it's not the best starter but in pob it's like 500k sDps in colose to no gear(low but should be ok up to Red maps and gear is like tabula 2x obliteretiom wands) . Adding Indygon it's like duble the DMG so killing Guardians should be possibile on kinda budget (in SC after 7 days Indygon is like 20-40c and like 1-2ex day 3-4 mb).

Leveling with BV is pain but 2x The princes swords+cold conversion gloves and unleash+some duration cluster on the tree should make it possible, so big respec is not needed.

What it was to level this build at league start from your experience?

Yeah that's what it was

I had a rough time because indigon took way too long to enter the market (over a week, and I had to pay a lot for the first drop), but if Indigon is more easily available in SC then it should work out great.

The other big concern is the explodey chest, but as you're saying there's budget options so that the clear isn't completely awful at first. At worst, you can level as caustic arrow initially, but if you really want to be BV I'm sure it can work
Hello,

Just wanted to thank Niedzwiedz for the awesome build. I liked it so much that I bothered to get to level 100 and 40 challenges for the first time. I also reached around depth 600 to finish the relevant endgame grind. The build could have pushed further maybe but it was starting to get a bit scary with the amount of incoming damage at that point.

There's a small thing I'd like to point out. This might just be because of Harvest and the crazy gear I crafted, mostly following the guide but pushing it further where I could.
Anyway by the time I got the belt with 20% reduced flask charges I felt that the flask sustain was actually overkill. It seems like I needed to kill only 5-10 mobs to completely fill up all my flasks. I droped Overflowing Chalice for Atziri's Promise when bossing (I only ever bothered swapping for Sirus anyway) without really noticing any difference.

So if I had to do it again with the same gear avilability I'd probably try it as an Ascendant with Pathfinder + some other ascendancy. Inquisitor would seem like a strong contender but that'd probably mean going crit so that'd be a pretty big gearing change. An easier switch would be Necromancer and going for an easy max block with GB. But then we'd be giving up elemental immunity and that's a bit of a pain to get otherwise

I do have a PoB for a scion PF+necro variation, which I've played myself to 98 (it was definitely fun and good enough to get 100 with, but I was kind of done with the league at that point). I agree with you, in that it made better use of Harvest.

Without harvest gear, I'd probably stick to non-crit PF as it's the easiest to gear and make work by far, but with min-maxed Harvest gear there's more exotic setups that can work and push the concept further.
Is the Scion variant worth looking into or is the Pathfinder version better?

I am running a crit/ cluster jewel stack version PF now at 98 which can reach 40-50m (depending on what you assume on Indigon stacks) with quite max out crit jewels/ Harvest gear. Incidentally I had also leveled a scion-PF/ Inquisitor to 85 before i decided to switch back to PF.

The main reason why i switched back was because i find that the extra elemental damage/ physical conversion from PF ascendancy helps to scales the chest explosion better which is more important if you are running crit. And also you dont really get full elemental ailments immunity on scion if you are zooming around all the time (requires you to be on consecrated ground) which annoyed me.

On the Scion you get basically 9 more passive points and I think you can squeeze out around 15% more DPS from the tree/ jewels. This comes at the cost of 20% less flask effect which translate to less regen, tankiness (from TOH/ granite), move speed. Whether that extra damage on scion is worth it is highly debatable given you can already get quite overkill levels on PF (although this is on harvest crit gear so outside of that could be quite different).

Attached a scion pob for reference

I can't speak about other people's versions (crit and what not), but as far as my two versions are concerned, PF has more speed and damage, but scion has 30% free aoe from necro and 75/65 real block. The scion's tankiness is amazing in hardcore, but it might be overkill for softcore.

Been comparing POBs and setups for all kinds of BV characters, and pathfinder (dual wield, tho) seems to be the best allrounder for speed, damage and survivability.
Anything that gets to 100 by just mapping is good enough for softcore imo, and being able to push 15Million dps and 400% movementspeed is just insane to make all content smooth.
