Previously, you would not get a full 24 seed plot in one map. It would take several maps to fill out a plot, wait for it to grow, and even longer to get many T2+ seeds. Now you get a full plot with some high tier seeds with 16% chance of spawning. So it might be even better than the old Harvest, especially for higher tier seeds. Only thing you can't save all the crafts.

The patch size for the update will be around 13GB on the standalone client and Steam.
may be people with the ggpk from the torrent need just 2gb more

Completely agree with your assesment. However GGG hasn't been good at balancing things out for ages and even more so after they were bought out.
I still play a non meta bow/assassin build eventhough it's not too strong and takes quite some time to kill things.
As an afterthought, the grind in this game has reached "full time job" level and is absurd.
