well, hiero has fore sure more quality of life, since free transfigurationf of mind, so u have large choice on helmet (unless u decide to annoit it on amulet, but i really like recover mana on kill during mapping and ultimatum);
then you have also elemental ailments immunity, free power charge and endurance, and yes hiero is probably a bit better is ome case, but, i prefer scion for the pathfinder ascendancy, to have always flasks charging up during stupid boss fight like maven, sirus, and other fight..

at the end, i also would like to try hiero, could be interessing..

i realise it has to be tuned with the new tree but if the dmg and survival is still on par, tried to check on the old tree with the new one and came up with this this path
