[3.19] DO NOT USE - Fuzzy Duckzy's Lightning Strike Raider - Great League Starter

Farrul Fur means you are always with max power and frenzy charges. You put less duration on the shield where you have aspect of the cat. I even got the 4th power charge on the tree.
Saw Rutelun post about this, but for anyone unaware, From the Shadows dagger node works in PoB now, and even for non-dagger users it seems pretty amazing.

The dagger mastery "+40% Crit Multi for skills supported by Nightblade" is baseline, so it's getting scaled by Elusive effect. This mastery alone is 85% multi for me. In total, for 4 points, I'm getting up to 140% crit multi, 18% movement speed and 6% chance to avoid all damage from hits.

Now admittedly, there's decay to that but you can maintain solid uptime with Withering Step on left click (which you should do regardless with Nightblade) and you should average something like 90-100 multi. Much stronger option than something like Heartseeker imo.

Do we feel squishy enough when hit to want a 21% fortify? Would cost us an annoyint and 6 points.

Also fuzzy you should run a discord for all the communication lol. Forums kinda suxk for it 😞

Strike skill is actually the most important thing you could have for bossing as it DOUBLES your damage. So how is this performed? At a proper distance, you will actually be able to hit the boss with your strike and the +1. You will see 2 beams coming down from the sky at proper distance.

About claw stats - elemental pen is EXTREMELY important, Far more than crit multi. Because we stack so much element from different sources (anger, claw dmg, tree nodes, jewels, jewelery etc) pen is very high damage. Our build already has an immense amount of crit multi, making it the 6th most important stat on a claw.

That would be the double lightning strike positioning thing then(?) - I'm a bit fuzzy on precisely what's going on with that.

As I understand it, you're getting attack in place to shoot only the projectile portion of your strike into the target, while the melee+projectile portion of the additional strike hit the target due to the slightly higher-than-melee-range range of the additional strike?

What happens if we have +3 or +4 strikes? Only a benefit with multi-target then I'm guessing, cos they won't all hit the same target & there is no area component, so it becomes about overlap of projectiles off any extra nearby mobs(?)

Keep in mind that heartseeker grants the ability to get crit mastery which gives 50% increased effect of non-damaging ailments. Since our ailments are crit based, and not a static value, POB can't calculate it - but lets say I'm hitting 30 shock on sirus. That one node makes him take an additional 15% more damage now

Then again, so do stronger crits. Interesting decision =)

whats actually the best 6 link? I see you guys running different gems then those in guide. Some of you even without cold dmg, which adds a lot of dmg, for me atleast.

Once you learn the fight Sirius is easy especially with a corrupted blood jewel, chaos res and spell suppression. You could always practice on a lower awakened level the rewards are still pretty good

Loving the build so far (just getting to yellow maps)! And just watched the new video and looking forward to respecing a bit with the new suggestions.

I noticed you dropped the Thread of Hope, is that a budget thing or is that because now you are taking Weapon Artistry so Master of the Arena is not needed?

And once we have some c saved up for clusters, do you anticipate the same nodes as the original guide being the best or something else?

Thanks again!!

If the cluster is really expensive I would just go with a 6 link Farruls fur for power charges and forget about the cluster

Shock is very confusing to me, so it's possible that I'm missing something, but I used a shock calculator to check and I don't see how this build ever gets close to 30% shock. From what I've read, shock is based on the largest single hit of lightning damage you can do.

If we look at your character for example, it looks like you have an absolute maximum of about 416k damage in a single instance of lightning damage (55k maximum lightning hit x 756% max crit multi). That would be an 9% shock on Sirus according to the shock calculator, and that's assuming the max roll.

50% increased shock effect does bring that up to a 14, maybe 15% shock, so it's still a pretty solid mastery (5% more), but even with 50% ailment effect, you would need to hit over double your current damage in a single instance of a lightning damage to even get a 20% shock, nevermind 30%.

Your calculations are definitely off somewhere, as I've observed stacks of mid 30s on Sirus (and NEVER as low as 9). Keep in mind, when you shock a target, they take more damage. When they take more damage...you shock them even harder :) I can try to record my next sirus A9 so we could check shock values throughout the fight.

Just recorded a drox a9 and can't find my poe youtube account anymore :/
Anyway, lowest shock was 19% when he was in his bubble, and highest was 40. Hovered around 30-35% most of the time
