Yes, correct, poison chances are mandatory.

They are listed in "The HoA step by step" (and of course in the pob also).

Mandatory to poison are poisonchances and additional chaos- or physical damage-components.
For our pure elemental skills i.e. the nostalgia-ring, helmet-exarch-implicit or chance to poison supportgem add the basic chaos/phys-component.

Final place in the cherry jewel the golden rule to double the production of virulences.


Skill up minimum 80%, better 100% chance to poison:

20% HoAg-buff
25% 2 passives serpentine spellslinger
40-80% 8-16 tattoos of the tawhoa shaman

While levelling also:

40% chance to poison supportgem / or integrated in rare gloves
25% 2 passives fatal toxins
20% 2 passives swift venoms / toxic strikes

Yes, some other minions, srs or absolution, are probably a bit faster for early speedlevelling.

But as soon as you can use unleash - ball lightnings of orbiting - chance to poison-support (can be also placed integrated in gloves too while gearing up) and pathed enough poisonchances, HoA turns extremely fast also and almost oneshots all campaign-bosses early.

Last leagues only cheap 1-2 chaos for the alternated ball lightning of orbiting-gem were needed.

Yes, it's a though decision.

In late endgame when you want to minmax the profane ground in the lycia-bloodline is a bit stronger with HoA's chaotic might. Also the tanky malediction debuffing enemies`s damage by 10%, before all our layers of defences are applied, so it's quite effective for tankyness.

But you need to run the sanctums (eg with srs), or better hire a tft-Lycia/Sanctum-carry-service, and then use a rational doctrine or zealotry-spectre to trigger profane ground.

The Herald-apokalypse +3 HoA-lvl is strong to reach HoA-tipping-levels 29 and 34, but beyond 2 passives in the lycia-bloodline are stronger.

To compare correct you need to enable with bitter heresy /disable with apokalypse the checkbox "Minions have Chaotic Might" in the pob-community-fork-configurations.


(Edited: And urgent switch out Deadly Ailments in HoA-supports, it lowers HoA's hit damage 80%!)

Coins of power - The new Djinn-supports

The Arachnophobia Allstars use around 5-8 more utilty-main-skills compared to most other builds (in the cast while channeling-setup 3, support spectres 1, AG 1, golem 1, offering 1), so they benefit optimal multiplied from the new 3.28 lvl 1 - mirage support-coins of power.

In example ball lightning of orbiting supported with increased area of effect will produce much more HoA-virulences, probably enough to switch out tornadoes of elemental turbulences or perhaps with adjustements to switch out the golden rule.

New trigger for Profane ground for our bloodline Bitter Heresy

Battlemage's Cry and Added a new Strength/Intelligence Support Gem, Blessed Call Support: Supports Warcry skills, causing them to create Consecrated Ground. Supported Warcries have lowered Area of Effect and Cooldown Recovery Rate. Cannot support triggered Warcries.


New HoA-support

Woooow?: Added a new Intelligence Support Gem, Exemplar Support: Supports Minion skills, causing your minions to have increased Critical Strike Chance and Critical Strike Multiplier for each of your own recent Critical Strikes.

Can be perhaps b.i.s. combinated with the new Shrine-belt Screams of the Desiccated.


Spectres-buff

Our support-spectres are buffed around +3 lvl, so their auras and tankyness are improved.


New HoA-Scion

The Scion-Reliquarian brings in 3.28 i.e. Maata's Teaching HoA-crits sceptre and tanky Burden of Truth-belt in her ascendancy.


New exceptional HoA-supportgems

Probably incoming Monday / Tuesday many of the 40 new exceptional support-gems will be published.

3.28 changes former awakened supports to 40 new exceptional-supports.

That means probably -2 to our HoA-lvl 35, to then lvl 33, below HoA-tipping-level 34. So in some set-ups i.e. the +3 Dragonfang-amulet or rare +2 /+4 /+8 amulets instead +1 Ashes of stars will be stronger as before to reach HoA-tipping-skill-lvl 34.
