I found the perfect merc! Sanguimancer is a Scion with 2 wands. She has a Proximity Shield too (not like she was in any danger of dying anyway). And she Body Swaps into packs, I don't even need to summon her. This is awesome!

Mercsplosions are real! After they nerfed the 1-shots, I was able to get a lv 83 Infamous Kineticist and give her Obliteration and Gravebind. She's practically immortal in maps, and even with 1 wand the explosions are very nice.
It looks like this is the only Scion (Str/Dex/Int) merc available, so there will be no dual-Obliteration for even more explosions. But this is already very nice.
Now I'm looking for more of this type of merc with hopefully better skills. The one I have casts Elemental Weakness replacing one of my curses with a slightly inferior one. But she doesn't do it consistently enough to let me drop 1 curse - not that it would give me a big benefit anyway. But she also uses a warcry. And somebody said they've seen one that used some aura instead. Anyway, that's just min-maxing.
Gravebind prices have dropped significantly. Obliteration is a 1c unique. Mercsplosions are great. Go get 'em!
PoEDB has the merc lists and the sad reality is we cant have a useful aura and explosions.
There's only 2 mercs that can use Oblit + Gravebind and their options for auras are Pride/Vaal Vit and Haste/Inspiring Cry.
Each merc only has 2 buffs they can give out and the Zealotry is on Dex/Int and comes with Skitterbots.
Discipline is on a pure int and none bring Purity of Elements only individual puritys.

The str/int merc, Fallen Reverend also has Zealotry.

I completely missed that one can actually use wands. That may be the best option to get gravebind/oblit + a useful aura.

I'm just now getting to red maps. Would you be able to make a section on page 1 with your recommended merc setups that you have been trying out?

How is Polymath feeling with this merc setup?

Got 1 shot by the scion meec in t17, but then found 2 back to back in t16. No curse,and body swap is insane. Have kitted her out wiyh 2 wands for explode, and MF for the rest because why not... yet to see her life bar move

And if you put on boots for +1 curse on the mercenary. I have a shield set to weaken and I want to give her gloves for fetters. Will the Bot impose 2-curses?
And I still don't understand if I take a deadite with Fanaticism, for some reason it increases my damage, although I myself use Fanaticism lvl 21, a question for me)

And tell me the best way to dress the mercenary, thanks.
I use a mercenary with a kinetic explosion. I haven't found the right one yet.

Did they patch the recombinator Lich Circlet method?
I tried it 2 times and both times the Circlet stayed ilvl85 :(

Make sure you switch the recombinator to the old mode ("unpredictable"). They added a new mode where you select mods which is on by default.
