I'm not following this exact build this time because I wanted to play the ballista in acts, but yes, it still works as before. The harder nerf was the resistance inversion iirc and you may up that with a good mercenary if you're lucky.

The build is totally and utterly broken this league thanks to mercs. Sky is the limit this league!

Here is a snapshot of my toon at 59 when switching to PSotA.

Leveled to 59 with spell totems and did Heist in Act 6 until I could afford PSotA, Wilma and Piscator. Then switched at 59.

You give the merc 4 items:

2x minus lightning res rings from Kalandra. Zero other lightning res on gear.

This gives all enemies -200% lightning resistance. Like WTF.
And all our hits are lucky. WTF x2!

Just go Wilma+8 totems and give the merc the items above. We have never seen such dps like ever!

The doryani prototype thing for mercs will very likely be patched though, I'd assume.

Why did you switch to PSotA over normal PS without mind of the council? I think in the past at least normal PS scaled better than PSotA until very high mana pools?

Do you still think the route to bottom right to max spell suppression is any viable or rather not?

We needed Mind of the Council to get lightning damage on the normal Power Siphon.
PSotA has lightning damage from mana baked in opening the door for Wilma helmet which is so much better for us since we can skip going for Ancestral Bond and there are so many sourced of attack and cast speed that we use to double dip.

It is better even at level 59 since we skip so many points.

You can still go for the suppress route. It is very very tanky and with the merc the damage will be even better.

Will you long-term still go for dance of the offered? I don't understand how it became so insanely expensive, so I guess you're still saving up?

Why is Dance of the offered so expensive? Used to be like 20c or less, no?

I finished the atlas and bought Maven and Uber Elder carry. Sitting at 4 voidstones now. Bought a bunch of upgrades.

Yes the build feels amazing to play. I highly suggest Wilma. You will love Haste and all the movement speed from permanent Onlsaught from the boots.

But if everything works out for you so far don't change. If it works. It works.
