Hmmm, I just tested it again in SC, and this time I didn't die when hitting the doll. Seems you can't really deal damage to it as a player. Weird, because last time I immediately died. Must have been some other thing that I didn't notice, then.

I'd imagine this is not a build you can start and progress with?
You need to have currency to play this?

This is a leaguestarter build
Initial costs are 1c for facebreaker and 1c for abyssus. Everything else is not strictly necessary, just rares you find on the ground, this league I played without a Darkness Enthroned belt until level 93.

I'd love If you can make ur pob a lil bit noob friendly like me :) maybe have 3 break points , like level 1 to the end of the campaign -> early maps > super endgame setup.

Hi have you try new runegraft? I feel like 90% chance to reset seem to not working it seem to keep landing on 10% to consume cooldown. most of the the i can cast only once :(

Hello Mys71c, unfortunately the build has ran into a problem.
It seems the Impale damage is hard capped around 35m damage, as I've been pushing the build higher and higher and suddenly Call of Steel has stopped dealing damage even to regular map monsters (because it's been hitting for more than 35m without any setup).
This means that we will never oneshot ubers until the bug is fixed. I've been getting around this issue by eating impales manually with firestorm, but now I tried rolling an exarch with a lot of damage reduction to test out the damage cap, and it seems the accumulated impale did not reach the values it should have reached.
Overall keep an eye out for my bug report, and attempt ubers at your own discretion
I actually decided to still try the build. Super fun so far. Are you using a merc? Was trying a rallying cry merc but it seemed like he was consuming my impales. Could this be what causes the bug with Call of Steel not deeling damage?

I am not using a merc at all, and using one or not has no impact on the call of steel damage. I made a forum bug post about the bug if you're interested, here: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3799497
One thing that I did notice about this bug after this report, is that it seems impale damage is capped regardless of if you use call of steel or not. I did a regular exarch invitation, and my impales only dealt around ~4x the damage of Crushing Fist, even though they should have dealt 10x the damage

I use firestorm for consuming the impales manually instead of call of steel.
The reason for this is because there is a bug, when Call of Steel would deal more than ~35m damage, it deals 0 damage instead. So for very high values of damage I need to consume the impales manually with Firestorm of Pelting instead of with call of steel.
I hope GGG fixes this bug, but until then I have to play around it

I dont actually think it works. Even if it did work it lacks the wording of the other two notables used for this: "chance for retaliation skills to remain usable".
So even if it did give 90% chance to not trigger cooldown the skill would only be usable for 70% of that.
Using all 3. I get 2-4 slams before i either run out of retaliation time or miss the cooldown.
