Honestly, the only thing that worked for me is that POEUncrasher on Github. I'll be stuck using that until GGG fixes this.

Same issue here. Happened twice, both during zone transitions. Playing on Steam, with R7 5700G/RTX 3060

" I thought the same thing too but I ran 3 games with shader pre-compile steps which hammered my old i9 13900k and gave me the infamous "out of video memory" error (Mortal Kombat 1, Marvel's Midnight Suns and Hogwarts Legacy) - all 3 compiled the shaders successfully without errors. The new RMA'd CPU has only run on the latest microcode fix. Event Viewer says something about kernelbase.dll being at fault, no idea what that means. |

they will fix it, in 2025, lol

" This is so annoying, my plan was for months to play in my christmas vacation.. |
|
|
yep, i have a lot of time off over xmas and was planning to get some good time in. Oh well, there is other games :)

So,
![]() After changing (after every startup) the affinity, to NOT use CPU0, as you can see, I am able to use Windows while the game is fully frozen. I've done a MemoryDump (15GB for 5GBmemory use) and in it I find: FILE_IN_CAB: PathOfExileSteam.DMP NTGLOBALFLAG: 0 APPLICATION_VERIFIER_FLAGS: 0 EXCEPTION_RECORD: (.exr -1) ExceptionAddress: 0000000000000000 ExceptionCode: 80000003 (Break instruction exception) ExceptionFlags: 00000000 NumberParameters: 0 FAULTING_THREAD: 000031dc PROCESS_NAME: PathOfExileSteam.exe ERROR_CODE: (NTSTATUS) 0x80000003 - {EXCEPTION} Breakpoint A breakpoint has been reached. EXCEPTION_CODE_STR: 80000003 Maybe this will help further investigating. Thank you. Br, TheScepticOne |
