Continuous Stuttering/Lag Despite Stable FPS and Internet in PoE 2 Early Access

I have the same from my side. Game put me in "pause" every 3/5 seconds and its like this every 10/15 sec.. Like if the game is not able to collecte all the datas.

How do you know what Ms you have in game ? how can i find this ?

I wonder if there are 2 different issues we are talking about in this thread?

Mine locks up for minutes at a time and the network reading keeps climbing up until the lock stops... sometimes locks up for 3-4 minutes at a time.

Some others look like they're getting smaller lag spikes?

For me i did update my nvidia driver and after that i just did ctrl+win+shift+B all in 1 !


It worked...

My wife and I dropped group and played solo....fixed the problem so far. Sad....cant play POE2 with my wife tho.

Today has the worse lag. Was so bad I died from stuttering.
Performance and pc hardlocks needs fixed asap its really unplayable for alot of players.

I have confirmed with a mate that my inputs are still working as well when we are partied up andf it happens to me.

It has made the game unplayable for the last 2 days for me, which is a real shame because I was thoroughly enjoying it.

I hope we get some sort of update on this soon.

really GGG you didn't talk about the stuttering, ill quit the game hope to see a fix after 2 months, bye.

If you are on PC a solution is to disable CPU0.

Open Task Manager > Details tab > Find PathOfExile.EXE > right click > set affinity > Uncheck CPU0
