High CPU Usage and Low Performance in Path of Exile 2

hey folks,

Another bump. Got the same CPU spikes issue and ofc fps drops. I also got the PC freeze issues but got it fixed by updating my GPU drivers + changing the render to Vulkan. Seems okay now at least with the crashes.

PC specs:

CPU: i5-12600KF
GPU: RTX 3060 Ti
RAM: 32GB
NVME SSD
Now i'm losing 2-3 FPS every step I walk...
Some settings that helped me a lot:

Set threaded optimization in Nvidia control panel to off.
Disable dynamic resolution in the game. In my case Vulkan + DLSS performs the best, DX12 + DLSS looks the best (surprisingly better than native).
Disable reverb and set sound channel to medium.
Disable chat windows in options, type "/global xxxx" and "/trade xxxx" (xxxx = random number) to join empty channels.
Go to %APPDATA%/Path of Exile 2/ and delete DirectX3D and Vulkan shader folders. Set shader cache in Nvidia control panel to disabled, restart your PC and set it again to 100 GB.
Make sure the game's exe is recognized as installed app and set to high performance in Windows apps (system-display-graphics-apps-add desktop app).
Windows should have fast startup disabled. Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Power Options = choose what the power buttons do, change settings that are currently unavailable.
In power plan settings, disable PCI power management and USB suspend.
Try to disable HAGS and game mode and see if it helps.
Turn off Game Bar.
Bump.

I'm pretty much done at this point as doing any worthwhile mechanic or juiced maps drops me down to an unplayable 20FPS and I keep dying, especially now that on-death effects are back.

I absolutely love the game, but playing with this performance is a horrible experience.
Quick and impactful suggestion for AMD GPU users: Disable Anti-Lag, disabling it gives around +15% FPS, apparently Anti-Lag limits CPU, I didn't notice any perceived change in lag or input delay, also my game seems to be stuttering far less now. It's overall a significant positive change.

There has to be a Nvidia equivalent of Anti-Lag, maybe disabling that will help in this regard in a similar way.
like many, once I reach the end game, my fps are no longer stable (even in low graphics) It's very unpleasant and tiring for the eyes.
None of my friends have smooth gaming either, even with big configurations. In multiplayer it's sometimes just unplayable.
I can't even imagine on ps5/xbox, and worse in "couch-co-op"
CPU Ryzen 5600x
GPU Nvidia 4060
fps dropped 140>15 evry 7-10 sec
To be honest, at this point in PC gaming and being this far along, it's simply inexcusable and absolutely a horrible representation of a companies competence when a game runs this horribly.

This should be their main priority as of right now.

i7 12700F - 4070ti -- High CPU Usage, often sub 40% gpu usage... my GPU isn't even getting over 100 watts power... absolutely joke of a game in terms of optimization.

after 590 hours, I'm done with this dumpster fire of a game until these devs actually learn how to make their game use GPU's

And just for an fyi, I've spent hours upon hours trying every thing possible I can figure out to make the game run better and make my PC run better... Wanna know what makes my PC run better? Playing better optimized games!

KCD2 is literally BRAND NEW and it puts my GPU at 99% usage and 200+ watts with only about 40-50% CPU usage.

KCD2 runs amazingly and it's brand new, and yes I'm well aware that KCD2 is much less CPU intensive, but despite POE2 using 100% of my CPU, it's still leaving 1ghz on the table, it is only maxing my CPU out at like 3.1 GHZ when I can see it easily push 4.5 GHZ in other situations...

GGG should be ashamed at this trash optimization

Monster Hunter Wilds is coming out soon and man I can't wait to forget POE2 even exists until they figure out how to actually make a game that can run on even high end equipment.

Truly embarrassing

FPS doesn't change if I play 1080p or 3840 × 2160.
Turning settings from high to low changes nothing.

What is this?!

I've noticed this also, doesn't matter if you set the settings from Low to High or res from 1440p to 1080, it all runs the same, LIKE CRAP.

What a joke.

P.S

What a surprise? Playing another new game now, Avowed... 95%+ GPU utilization and high cpu utilization on both, 90-120 FPS in 1440p with ultra all settings, GPU at 200+ watts... Wonder how they do that!?!?!?
