POE2 - Mastodon tusk quest item doesn't drop

Same here not sure what's happening.

I have the same problem, have killed the boss(s) twice, first i killed the mastadon first, second try i killed caster guy first. No tusk. I'm on normal and think this is my 3rd toon through the game. I'm a cold sorc.

it took a couple of tries and manually resetting the instance with ctrl+click on the node. It eventually dropped.

when it wasn't dropping, the gear that dropped was magic for the most part, when it did drop, there were almost all rare with a regal I believe.

I'm having this issue as well, thankfully I'm not alone. 4 Kills 2mast first 2 cast first and no drop

Just happened to me... Third char, first two it worked, now don't have the drop and can't progress... Lacking words...


But.... After resetting, killed the steed first, then the mage and it dropped.

Bug is still present, killing Mastodon multiple times does not drop quest item.

Oh, so the vision is: play the game the way we want you to play it or get fvcked. I just got the tusk after beating the mage last. Never happened like this before this patch. Total Dog Shit rules undenounced to the community.

On my second try, I defeated Ekbab first then took on Iktab, and the tusks finally dropped. Thanks for the idea. Oh, BTW, I've been through the game several times and it never before made any difference that I always defeated Iktab first because he's a lot more dangerous then Ekbab.

This bug is still a thing. Killed twice, stuck in campaign. Neither killing first works.

WTF is going on in here? 2 years later since the original report, in an EARLY ACCESS report forum, and the item is still not dropping after killing the boss.

This should be a simple bug fix, folks, why is this not getting fixed?
