Is it intended to only get it once at this point?

Yup the issue is still around, kinda annoying. If it is only meant to be collected once, then it should not be available on the map afterwards. 07.06.2025 After resetting the instance twice, still cannot access the room... I'm going to go grab the morning newspaper... so... "go away now" as the Critical Drinker says.
