[3.26] Lazy Susie: Explosive Warcry Scion - Corrupting Cry (Budget) Tank - 90% Max Res

Scion is getting three big Ascendency nodes instead of its usual two during the Legacy of Phrecia Event.

If you just want the free MTX from hitting 80 Scion Scavenger is a solid choice.
For leveling PCoc of bouncing and/or doing Sanctum as Hexblast to get rich

Take Cloak of Flame (Ascendancy), which I assume stacks with the actual unique item, and you got Physical Damage sorted out as well. That leaves basically Chaos Damage and Poison as the highest danger. A bit lower DPS, but it's not that big of a deal. Have fun!

I took out corruptions, aul and pride from build and the damage from 1.5M dropped to 500k. Even RF deals more in budget.

Ascendancy choices are glad for 50% block and saboteur for cooldown? Feels like we are loosing ascendancies but all other corrupted cry builds are using shaco which is non-viable like....ever.

Tell that to GGG. It's not my fault Corrupting Cry's scaling is ass. The build already has close to 400% increased Damage, 147% more Damage, 55% DoT multi and a x2.184 Damage Taken multiplier. Corrupting Cry is not a skill gem and its level curve is bad. There's only so many ways you can scale this.

It's not RF where HP = damage + defense, and you get to debuff the enemy into negative Fire res. You also don't have the luxury of freely using a second skill to apply another DoT, because the uptime is too low and there's not enough sockets. You can technically swap out Purifying Flame and add Reap in there, but that doesn't do that much overall and makes the build feel clunky. I only do this on league start and until I have better gear.

Frankly, RF is just OP by comparison. Corrupting Cry needed some love and it got none this patch, so I'll be playing my Poor Man's Ward Loop again.

Edit: High level CC Shako would be over twice the DPS. Same tankiness, only losing corpse boom. /shrug

Edit 2: Don't forget we are getting Mercenaries this patch. We can just spec one into damage. We are the main target at all times anyway.
