Global Illumination not working after 0.2.0h

After yesterday's 0.2.0h patch, the game looked noticeably worse to me. Especially the spell effects looked jarringly bad.

After comparing my game to footage from before the patch, I noticed distinct differences in lighting and shadows. Additionally, when toggling the Lighting setting between "Shadows" and "Shadows + Global Illumination", there is no noticeable difference in image quality and performance. Consequently, I believe the cause is broken Global Illumination in the new patch.

Here are two screenshots showing the issue. The first one was taken before patch 0.2.0h.

The second one was taken today after the patch.

You can clearly see a massive difference in lighting on the map device, the portals as well as the left border of the images.

Both screenshots were taken on a standard PS5 with the settings shown below. As you can see, Global Illumination is enabled.

I tried different settings, but could not find any configuration that improved lighting to the before-patch quality.

I sincerely hope this is a bug since it was not mentioned in the patch notes.

The big question: is the framerate now better?
Same issue here PS5 and possible other consoles too.
