How squishy does this build feel withOUT the Lucky block chance from Forbidden Flesh/Flame jewels? how many deaths in an average T17? or 8mod T16?

I'm thinkin of trying this as my 2nd character this league but a main defensive layer of 65% block chance with no Lucky feels kinda squish for a melee build. I can afford maybe 20-30 divs total for the build but not sure how far i can get with that.

I have been having so much fun with this build, it was really easy to set up and have been getting through campaign and maps the quickest I ever have, currently about to start on T10 maps and saving for currency to convert over to Crit. Regarding the Timeless jewel, in the POB, you state it has to be 17310. From what I see, from the timeless jewel you're getting 30% melee crit chance, 2x 20% melee damage, 20% phys damage, a 5% double damage, and a crap ton of strength.

I'm trying to find the closest jewel to this using the timeless jewel calc. What could possibly be an alternative if it's impossible to find a similar jewel? Currently the only 17310 I see on trade is 60 Div

Hey thanks for the build! Why did you put the weapon gems there? whats the use for them?


Edit: Since you can get a merc with determ and give him + vuln ring whats the purpose of the annoint in boots, also if you drop the endu chance annoint , how do you generate endurance charges? Sorry but im not that good in poe :D (800hrs) past 10 leagues xD

Just switched from slam of earthsomething to this , sold all my gear , and got like 5-6 div of gear on me , build is pretty much "immune" to damage over time... but big hits.... oh boy... you are gonna get ONE shotted alot by rares with phys hits and bosses.
