3.28 - Updated | Banner Slammer | SSF & SSFHC | T17/Ubers Viable

Evening fellow Exiles!

Just wanted to drop here that the build is rock solid and going with it at league start. My biggest concern is getting the axe with the new tree due to changes, but I'm still happy that the axe wasn't even touched :)

I think that we'll figure out how to compensate for the dmg nerfs during the few first weeks, so see you in 3.28!

Thanks fren. I've just updated the first post with compensation already. It really is as simple as swapping the main gem link for the most part!

Is the mana loss from the autoexertion nerf enough to make us drop one warcry, or do we still stick with all of them and try and squeeze more reservation in do you think?

Any ideas on slotting in the new Bloodsoaked Banner support?
Thought it might help with making clear feel smoother but scaling it looks rough.

Bloodsoaked Banner is definitely going to be the meme build of the league if it's not changed. The area of banners is gigantic and that base damage is pretty crazy. For doing super easy content you will probably be able to zoom with defiance and dread banner and never have to press another button. It's weird that exceptional supports cap at level 3. If the support scales significantly with gem levels then Bloodsoaked Banner bannerman is going to go mainstream pretty fast. Even if it doesn't you should be able to scale it into the millions.

I don't think it's really needed if you're playing a 360 degree skill like Earthshatter but maybe the skills that hit in a cone would like it. I'm gonna try it out as soon as I get my hands on it.

Probably just means dropping Infernal Cry early or Battlemage's Cry once the axe is obtained, or anointing mana res while keeping it. Does suggest some damage loss from having one fewer exertion after having Shaper helmet. Haven't really thought it all the way through yet since it's more of a matter of feelycrafting than theorycrafting.

Completely different build, completely different passive tree, completely different itemization.

No need for smoother clear when you already 1 hit the a screen with a slam and with no ramping time like corrupted blood.
