[3.26] The HoT-Auto-bomber Zoomancer- 1 Button

I want to play an autobomber that feels tanky and still does good bossing dps. By dropping the tripple damage staff and instead going for crest of desire we are free of the usual constraints of auto-bombers. We combine this with Lots of Minions to boost us. In The end we avoid most of the pitfalls of a normal auto-bomber and become something better !

1.: The Basics
Herald of Thunder is a fast hitting auto-targeting-ability. It is hard to scale since its neither a spell nor an attack. It Scales of quality and global damage sources like shock or global gem levels.

2.: More Indepth-Starting the Loop
Herald of Thunder should be combined with Inpulsas broken heart. All shocked enemies explode ! But since Herald of Thunder cant shock itself you’ll have to find another source of shock.
Step 1.: Manually cast a Shocking skill (Shock Nova is BIS in my opinion)
Step 2.: Herald of Thunder triggers and acitvates „Storm Secret“ which damages us.
Step 3.: Cwdt triggers and Crackling Lance of Branching triggers- effectively shocking the whole screen
Step 4.: See the whole screen explode, the chain has now started- no need to manually cast again.

5.: Mageblood and Svalinn
MAGEBLOOD AND SVALINN DO NOT WORK WITH THE BUILD! PLEASE stop asking me about it xD. I am sorry- it simply does not work. We need neither speed nor tankiness. Its 1 of the only build in the game where mageblood does in fact NOT improve the build. The build is simply very well rounded and doesn't need it.

8.: How to craft the gloves (easy)

Step 1.:Use the following trade search.

Step 2.: Deterministically Harvest-Reroll the Alva/res mod to 48-50% inc hit damage against chill;
Step 3.:Deterministically craft Aspect of the spider by getting the beasts: "Fenumus, First of the Night"+ "Black Mórrigan". (Be Carefull: chaos res required)
Step 4.: Finish of the craft with the inc damage when using flasks bench-craft

11.: Benchmarks
Try to hit atleast 10 Mil Dps on THe Herald to make it comfortable. Your benchmark for HP should be 5000 HP. This is simply the hp pool that a tanky build should be balanced around to avoid one shots. (HP is very hard to get on Herald builds because so many build slots are occupied by uniques) Dont drop the live on the items I recommend it on!

I enjoy chill strats and these too work very well with the build. Low cost and very good income. Can do both versions strats on medium budget.


1.: Ritual: + Beyond/ JUN /Shrines As secondary.
- Very Effective way of making money and perfect for the build. I recommend getting some 8 mods (check the general section for the regex) and just sprint through.
- Map craft: Domination
- The loot is great, ritual works great. Truly recommend it.
- Very low cost
- Just get as many Safehouses done as possible

2.: Boss Rushing: +Beasts/Azurite/Settlers (Svalinn Hunt)
- Run multiple different maps and just sprint through, kill some beasts, skip all ores until svalinn boss appears.
- Map Craft: Setllers
- Run to the bosses and 1 shot them/ do maven invitations.
- Very low cost

3.: My Filter
Consider using my filter while mapping. It is highly optimized for speed-farming. Put a lot of effort into it. I only want to see stuff that is somehwat usefull or valuable. Most things are hidden. It has a whole huge section on Identified items. I Recommend testing it out - espescially- if you want to engage with Kingsmarch/Ritual. It is ULTRA STRICT. Truly STRICT. Please keep that in mind.

- ALSO: All boss-specific uniques are Hidden because it is for Mapping only. If you kill ubers etc. you need to manually check all items on the floor after killing the boss. This is because I dont want to be distracted by boss-bases while mapping.

Benefits
1.: Smite with inc effect= nice uptime on the smite buff
2.: Holy Relic with Additional (gilded) recovery+Aoe
3.: Consecrated Path with (gilded) 40% global inc damage
4.: Purity of Lightning (Only if you are running high budget negative res rings on him to still hit 190-200 negative lightning res)
5.: Can wear all fitting gear pieces!

Gear
Checkout the POB to look into the Merc gear! We are mostly scaling curses/ doryani on him. Also adding Sin Eater for Ailment immunity. The Gear changes throughout the versions.

3.: How am I applying Chill and Elemental overload?
On medium Budget: You run into the enemy and give him brittle+chill ground. This way they are chilld. You only need to do this on bosses and on those you dont do anything besides standing around and watching them melt so its easy to manage that
On high Budget: You drop Brittle Ground on Boots for gg boots and go for rational
