Blasphemy not working for me in poe2

How did you fix it?

I have a 5 socket Blasphemy that I can't use. I've matched the curse and the blasphemy level.

I thought the patch had fixed this but its still broken for me.

For me problem was that i had Zone of control allocated using weapon set 1. To be precise first 2 small aoe nodes are global passives, and 2 with notable included weapon set 1.
Now that i made all of them global, blasphemy works as intended as far as i can see. Also level had no impact on it whatsoever, i am using temp chains 20 + 6 levels and it was fine before that node.

So, basically see if you got any curse nodes on weapon set passives, it might be the reason.

do you have a low level curse socketed in blasphemy? if it is lower than lvl 18 and you are in zones with higher level monsters than mentioned in the curse skill details, then they won't be cursed at all. I have also seen a minimum requirement of level of skill socketed on blasphemy, so check if that is being met as well.

Wow! thanks for this comment I thought I'm going crazy but it was sh1tty design of hiding important information about game being path of restrictions that was causing this.
