Not usable with current weapon set settings

I ACCIDENTALLY FIXED IT! AND FIGURED IT OUT!
As I was about to start recutting all my skillgems to see if that would fix it, I was gonna stash my archmage (which had the same bug, but that was fixable since you can enable it for 1 weapon set at a time), I accidentally ctrl+clicked it in to my skills and it lost the ! warning and I was able to just right click activate it. Tried same with blink, blink also works now. |

When you go to look at the skill's detailed info by clicking the arrow next to it's displayed damage #, at the bottom of the window that pops up has an option to be "Used with weapon set" and has boxes for both sets I and II. For me, both were unchecked somehow, so Herald of Ice was saying "Not useable with current weapon set settings."

Solution found: Inventory I/II hover over the I above your bow/quiver and click "lock to all weapon sets" it fixed the entire issue.

My solution is based on raekwon#6169 tip: I ctrl+clicked bugged gem in the skill panel, it dropped into my inventory together with all support gems. And after that I have CTRL+CLICKED it FROM the inventory and it went directly into the skill slot and the bloody red sign was gone, I was able to use RMB again to activate the skill.

I had this issue today when swapping a ring.
Make sure you select the skill that it is selected on the correct weapon set in the skill tab. The one where you designate between weapon I and weapon II. For whatever reason, it turned off the skill from each weapon set. |

All of the above “fixes” do not work for me, as the clickable “used in weapon set 1or2” is red and cannot be clicked. Ctrl clicking doesn’t work, swapping items doesn’t work. Nothing I do makes Charge regulation work as it should. As far as I can tell I have all the prerequisite stats for it. This freaking game is soooooo damned buggy.
