Old Screenshots of Path of Exile

Amazing job GGG What a long process it has been and hopefully will be! Not even out of open beta yet and guess what? POE made me put down a "certain" game from a company that should have gotten it right like you guys have.

awesome oldies!
Am I the only one who though the early potions looked like a bunch of curved penises? O_O
Nice pictures! And great job on the game so far. POE is fun, hard, and addictive. The BEST action rpg since D2. Well done and keep up the good work. Oh and uh, the currency system rocks! Way better then gold and auction house garbage.
Incredible how the game has evolved,
Proud to be a part of it (in whatever small way I can).
SSF since ~OB
Please, unique map with textured cube mobs \o/

Awesome shots!

You can see how far they have come by browsing through their youtube channel (sort by oldest first).

Here is their first trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-UG3642raQ

Ooh, these are so cool! It would be also awesome to see how the passive tree and its' nodes looked at a time. :D

Google is your best friend!

Very Old tree, where everyone starts in the middle:

The tree when I first joined in March 2012, prior to its revision to the one we have today
Spoiler

Note the multiple starting points unlike the two we only have at present. The Shadow wasn't released at the time.

In many ways I still miss the old tree where you had several exits from your starting position.

This is one of the few changes I wish had never happened. So many choices, all gone now.

Ah, I love this sort of stuff. As someone who's always been a fan of indie games (and tried writing a few myself, but never made it passed tic tac toe..) I find this stuff fascinating. Thank you so much for sharing these screenshots.
Gave me a rush of nostalgia!
Man these screens were epic.. great to look back on the dev process and kind of share vicariously the joy you guys must feel in seeing it all evolve piece by piece..
