Necromantic Aegis Node: Help Needed

The perfect shield for aegis is:

Archon Kite shield with

+400 Armor
+120% Ar/ES
+56% Ar/Es + Stunresist

+30% Chaos resist
+16% resist all
+6% Blockchance

Minions will be able to >>>sustain<<< damage with vitality!(easily!)

Archon Kite is actually not the best. After their base resists and Purity, zombies will have 59% fire and lightning resistance, 91% cold resistance (capped, obviously), and 0% Chaos resistance (regardless of difficulty level). A Branded Kite Shield offers 2% more block, more Armour, and more ES, plus it's available at a lower character level. The 8% intrinsic All Elemental Resistances mod, combined with a 12% or higher Resist All affix, is sufficient to get fire and lightning up to the 79% for Purity maximums; higher than 12% can make up for less-than-maxed Purity, but is essentially overkill.

I imagine Archon Kite Shields can still be used, but if so you don't want to see a Resist All suffix whatsoever; you already have all 20 you'd need in the intrinsic mod. This makes it a decent choice for a budget option, since it's easier to get two good/perfect suffixes than it is to get three (or you could toss in Stun Recovery as a third affix).

An argument can also be made for Colossal Tower Shield, due to its strong Armour, in which case the best suffixes are +Fire resist, +Lightning Resist, +Chaos resist; Cold isn't necessary since it's already maxed under Purity. These aren't normally used, however, due to the intense Strength requirements.

Regarding prefixes, Life is strong on NA shields, and arguably better than the +56% Ar/Es prefix.

Finally, Saffell's Frame, which has up to 120% Spell Block conversion but also Cannot Block Attacks (as well as a solid +18% all resistances) is the best choice in certain fights, and thus makes a very solid weapon switch. (However, the extended cap is useless for non-Cold unless you plan on supporting with MaTER, since you'd still be 7% short.)

Thanks for all the info here, very helpful!
Will Specters (Flame Sentinels) benefit from this

while on Necromantic Aegis??
Ive been told they will and that they will not in Global Chat.
So, will they or not?

They cast Fireballs. Fireballs are spells (more obviously than some monster skills). Necromantic Aegis + that Rathpith = 45% increased spell damage for minions.

Keep in mind that this increase stacks additively with other increases; so if you already have 105% increased minion damage on the passive tree, and 75% minion damage from a Minion Damage support, they'll go from a 180% increase to a 225% increase, which is equivalent to 16% more damage (not 45% more).
