Path of Exile for Mac?

I'm really looking forward to this coming out on mac. I hope cross-platform games becomes the norm soon.

I hope you guys do make a Mac version. Both Diablo 3 and Torchlight 2 will have Mac versions. My brother uses a Mac and I use a custom PC. We will be playing Diablo 3 and Torchlight 2 because we can play together on those games. I told him about Path of exile yesterday while we played Diablo 2, and he loved the sound of it.

I know this is just a single anecdote but Im sure there are other out there in similar situations with friends/family that use Macs and want to play together.

Well, I think there may some other fellow casual gamers like me who would support the project if I was sure I can play it my Mac. I will try it out with wine as soon as I get the beta key.

But I think you might start a kickstarter.com project for a Mac client. I'm pretty sure you could raise money on this.

Since the unofficial wine port is pretty playable, this is not a burning question now. Still, I strongly believe you could get financial support from the Mac community somehow.

Works decent using Wineskin emulation :)
Most probably, the final release will be a wineskin port since most publishers nowadays are lazy as hell (not this case!) :))

I just bought the beta access forgetting how rare it is to find non-blizz games with mac support. LOL :(

Anyone explain how I do a vm or wine manipulation?

they have a mac wrapper... i played it on my mac pre mountain lion... but after i installed mountain lion it stopped working

Same here. Updated to 10.8 few days ago, the wine wrapper no longer working.

Dont think the wine wrapper works under mountain lion though.

you can also use VMware fusion or just bootcamp the easiest way.
