I'm still confused how this works. With a 60:40 or 52:48 lightning to cold split, we still will always hit with lightning as highest damage and never gain lightning resonance. Am I not understanding how this is supposed to function?
My understanding with Trinity is you need the two elements to have separate numeric rolls so that sometimes one element is highest and sometimes the other. Unless it's supposed to come from jewels,, I don't see any source of flat cold damage.

Unless you want it for the aesthetics or the rare time the extra range is needed, you'll likely regret it. Lightning Warp is a horrible movement skill. You cast, wait the duration it would take to move there (affected by skill effect duration), then teleport to the location. If that were it, it would be clunky but fine. Once you start introducing the queue mechanic, you might teleport to the same location multiple times in a row.

Yes, you can, but very quickly you want to use faster casting and another gem that reduces duration for you, cause it might work nicely as a travel gem, it does not work as PANIC! movement.
So you use more gem slots. Which is always at a premium.

The Lightning Warp queue has nothing to do with rubberbanding or weird repeats that other movement skills sometimes do.
LW let's you queue up multiple casts, something that Flame Dash doesn't.

I could be mistaken, but I think it's because of the wild damage variance that comes from lightning damage.
