Hello Enki!

Been playing Your build in solo self found for about two week now, reached Level 80on my char Arcozio, and enjoying it A Lot.

I am a little Lost now as to what my next steps should be. I read Your ssf guide but it is a little more end game oriented
What should i do inside the mine? Should i try to craft for example a better sceptre or just improve each item of my Gear as they come?
I have Experience till 9x in normal softcore but zero previous ssf Experience. Ty!

Thanks Enki - used your advice & tweaked, re-tweaked & re-tweaked more for flasks, gems & links etc.

Feeling a lot more solid now - just have to max gems & get the right enchants on my helm, gloves & boots.

Something better is gonna cost a dozen of exalts and it's very hard to find.
Since you can't get cast speed on the dagger - you are losing 20% cast speed. And here your character starts to feels sluggish because you can't stop casting arc and use movement skill fast enough. Cast rate without onslaught is way too low.
Also, I tried dual wielding with this build before. It feels like you made of paper without Ahn's shield, especially in high depth delve

You overvalue Perma-Onslaught by a lot. And regarding Castspeed, check out http://poedb.tw/us/mod.php?cn=Dagger, craft your Shaper-Dagger with Aetheric/Shuddering/(Metallic), you're pretty likely to hit Castspeed via. Faster-Casting, preferably with Pen on Top. If you're still longing for Onslaught, you'll have 95% Uptime with 2 Jewel-Suffix-Slots, which might get expensive, but in the End, it's better and won't cost you dozens of exalts, not even close. And with that, you got 20% Castspeed and Onslaught, which is even faster, than using that silly shield.

And regarding Paper-Chars: You're playing Elementalist. You feel like fucking paper all the time compared to other more defensive classes. You're here to kill stuff before it kills you, not to endure the punishment. And if you're really delving deep, Crit-Damage-Reduction on your Chest as a Corruption works wonders, more than 3% Max-Res ever will.

I'm not comparing arc elementalist to defensive classes. I'm comparing shield vs no shield. And with Ahn's shield I feel A LOT safer.
Crit damage reduction corruption is a lot worse than +1lvl socketed gems(which is like 15% more damage), especially if you are losing 29% chance to block from the shield.

Alright guys, so I fixed me resistances, invested bunch of exalts into 2s bubonic with "inc AS and CS if you've killed" enchant, some jewels with onslaught on kill and cast speed if I've crit recently, AS/CS on gloves and few exalts into OKish dagger. Now have about 965k shaper DPS, a bit less if I change the bubonic into the Kaoms with the same enchant.

If onslaught happens with minnions around I got about 1040kdps and with frenzy another 160kdps (1216kdps total).

My hp when fighting shaper is 6k + 2.3k mana - I stopped using clarity since I dont really need it. Will try some uber elder runs this week. Will keep it updated and thanks for the advices <3

Your gameknowledge is lacking. Base-Dual-Wield-Blockchance is 15%. Add 6% from a Sai and you're comparing 21% Blockchance to 29%. Both are just bad, when it comes to Block, even if you would choose to go Rumi's. Without any On-Block-Recovery you can just pick up Phase-Acro and get even less damage your way.

Regarding Crit-Damage-Reduction: That would be the only part, where I would consider Ahn's, that's with an additional Crit-Damage-Reduction. If you don't get some form of Crit-Damage-Reduction somewhere, you simply can't run some Delve-Zones with Critchance/Multi as Map-Mod. I don't know if you did many deep citys, but you are in 1-Shot-Territory on Crits, especially with those Invis-Mobs.

started my first elementalist with arc build mapping is a one of the smoothest.Thank you so much for the guide! However, against boss like shaper guardians i die too much :(, can u guys take a look at my character and tell me what i should improve? I crafted this dagger just to try dual wielding again, it was maybe 1ex worth of fossils.

I killed a couple uber elders with it and did depth 690-695 abyssal chambers.
It feels exactly as I remember - more DPS, less surviveability. Incoming elemental damage difference is definitely noticeable(especially on uber elder). Block difference - not really, here you are right.
About whirling blades - with Sai (1.3 attacks per second and without additional attack speed) it feels absolutely as sluggish as shield charge with permanent onslaugt. And it's a lot harder to proc fortify from whirling blades.
Overall, I got about 18% more DPS. Lost 3% max resistances (12% incoming elemental damage) and about 6% phys damage reduction (because of ahn's corruption). HP is about the same.
It's not an improvement IMO, it's just a different style.
My DPS is pretty impressive btw, 854k sustainable shaper DPS without flasks (checkmarks in POB are on: enemy is chilled, enemy is shaper/guardian, enemy is shocked recently). Probably gonna stick for dual wield untill the next league.

Yea, high depth delve is extremely rippy. I doubt that even that Ahn's corrution is gonna save us from oneshots. Those rare invis monsters hit like a truck.
