I see this thread is still current which is impressive at 641 pages. I'm assuming the guide itself is still up to date? I get a warning about the passive tree being out of date for 3.4.

It's in the guide. Elementalist's Ascendancy gives you that ability.

Yeah, me too. Killed all but Chimera, there's just not enough space to maneuver and you can't face tank him with this build. Maybe with shitty rolls on map.
Gear-wise I think it starts to get into 15-20+ex area now. which is pointless for this league now:D

I'm currently level 75 and I've been having a lot of fun, specially while delving.

I was reviewing the build, and was wondering, why are we not taking Elemental Equilibrium since we are dealing all 3 types of elemental damage? am I missing something? wouldn't it increase the overall DPS?

@nintura The guide for 3.4 starts at page 525 ish of the thread. Things before that will be about other versions (3.3, 3.2, etc) and may not be relevant to the current version.

The reason it says it's out of date is because the current version of the game is like 3.4.5 or something, not 3.4.0, the tree is up to date. You can just ignore that, since nothing on the passive tree has changed in the 0.0.X changes. The easiest way to look at the tree is with the Path of Building link via Pastebin, though. I highly recommend you look at it that way, since Enki has made it so you can pull the dropdown and see the tree in 10 level increments for ease of use.

This build focuses on Lightning Damage, we only need 1 cold damage to trigger Hypothermia (39% more damage, 100% guarantee when in chilling conflux). Using elemental equilibrium, our main cannon ARC will suffer increasing enemy resistance by +25% but reduce the other elemental damage which we do not scale so by the most part that damage will be insignificant.

Elemental Equilibrium is good in skills that doesn't hit at all, like Righteous Fire.
