How to reduce some lag/stuttering

Hey guys I dont know if u guys have tried this but it helped ALOT for me if you change the game to windowed fullscreen mode i was able to max settings with no stutter

one could also hardlink the folder (besides /temp and shader chache) to a ramdisk, problem solved:)

Wouldn't this cause you to lose all chat history during gameplay, when transitioning between areas? Also for me performance issues are caused by the display of text in the chat window as well as when there are an excessive number of loot labels on screen, not when the game is accessing the hDD.
