Enjoying this build very much. Just starting out in maps and I was wondering if someone could check my gear out and let me know what my next upgrades should be. I am dead broke at the moment, but need something to works towards. I have been following the guide religiously and I believe that I am a little further along than I have a right to be as I lucked out and was able to purchase a scepter with a 'trigger spell' at a low price.



I also have a 5-link Vis Mortis, but am using the Tabula as the guide suggests.



Maybe I should sell the 5 link Vis Mortis and start working on a 6-link one.

I have not had any clearing problems but I do keep getting one shot by Izaro in the Merciless lab (my current health is at 3.3K). My resistances are all currently above 75 (81/85/106) so I should be in good shape when I clear the lab and get 'Commander of Darkness'. I know that I have a little work to do on the flasks and that my jewelry is just enough to get by (along with the helmet and gloves). Also I keep having dexterity problems, maybe I should just pickup one of the +30 nodes and be done with it (++edit after posting this I crafted a +28 dexterity to one of the rings and took the pressure off).

++edit Good news, I killed Merciless Izaro and got 'Commander of Darkness' which raised my resistances to 101/105/126. This brings up another question. With this build, how over-capped should my resistances be?

Ok, mmmm I would'nt really push towards a 6L vigor mortis as of now, I advice the following two steps:
1.- Craft the rare spectre boots, they are a must. Since you are playing synthesis try to look for a single fracture 30% MS boots (Two-toned if possible, they aren't that expensive) and craft the +1 spectre. Bound + Pristine should do the trick.
2.- Try to find yourself a +1 spectre rare armor, that's the true endgame chest, I honestly wouldn't change from a tabula for anything else. 6 linking a rare chest is easier than a Vis Mortis (because you can craft quality to six link as suggested in the guide).

Is tabula rasa better than 5-link vis mortis?

Hey folks. Are we saying for +1 Spectre chest crafting I need to Anull mods one by one hoping I don't hit the +1 Spectre prefix, and if I do, I'm starting from scratch??

Those chests are like 100c :)

I prefer for a 5 links vis mortis.
But look on the life Pool for your spectres.

The damage is good enough with a 5 link.
I kill easy Tier 14 mapbosses.
Bis mortis give a good Portion of es ;)

Thanks for your quick reply. With using fracture's, the boots seem within my reach. It looks like I can find the two-tone's with a +30 MS fracture for around 50c. Not sure how many time I will need to apply Bound + Pristine, but it should not be to bad.

The idea behind the crafting is to offer an upgrade over basic items like Bones of Ullr, Vis Mortis or Earendel's. Every other piere of equipment is a cheap rare. You can easily play the game without crafting anything.

Outside of flashback, the fossils are very cheap in the first few weeks: bound fossil for 1c, shuddering for 5c.

I used my Elder Orb on Desert Springs: big open map and highest monster count. The boss arena also seems to drop a lot of maps.

HC is viable.

SSF will be a struggle because you can only get 2 spectres (1 from skill +1 from passives). At minimum, you need 3 to feel comfortable, so you'll need Bones of Ullr/Bound fossil early (for boot craft). Vis Mortis/rare chest are possible, but would be difficult to get 5L on that.

4.Why Faster Projectiles? Slower P, gives much more DPS.

Faster Proj for mapping/clear speed. You can swap to Slower Proj for bosses if you want more DPS. I left off the 'shock on focus' craft for the ring. That'll give you another 20%. You can select 'covered in ash' to simulate it.

The build runs Zealotry + Haste - I forgot to change Haste to Vaal Haste (would give a nice boost).

With Slower Proj + Shock on Focus, spectres are at 1.4m. 1.6m with Vaal Haste.
