Can you look to my profile and say , what can I improve?

Managed to kill Uber elder today - it's definately a tough fight, even more so on a laggy computer. I had 2 portals left in the end, and didn't change my flasks for the fight, aside from swapping immunity to bleed to immunity to freeze. If I wanted to easen the fight, I'd probably try to incorporate purity of ice into the build and get some more life regen. Since the build has no sustain, you slowly get chopped down by elder shards and adds - that's actually what caused my deaths, shaper orbs and beam never hit me once. Only time shaper is an annoyance is when elder spanws the circle and you have to dodge his stuff on limited space.

For all of my trouble I got the indigon helm :P

If you have been slowly chopped down maybe a bit of life leech would be enought. Spiritual Aid is two nodes away from Righteous Army. Then, linking life leech with storm brand may improve sustain.

Edit: I forgot EE, so that's probably a bad idea.

I'm not sure if I can develop a full guide for the Occultist variant because of the lack of time, but the passive tree should be fairly similar to an older version of this build (discontinued hybrid version). I might have to leave it to others to tweak and contribute to the build.

Luckily, this forum seems to saves all old edits. I'll just have to dig it up.

Your set up is OK, but I can suggest some small tweaks.

I suggest putting portal on a second weapon. Weapon swap when you need it. Put Generosity there instead. So now you will have Zealotry + Generosity. You can move Haste to your helmet.

Maybe drop Vaal Summon Skeleton and put Combustion there instead. This will allow your AG to apply combustion for -19% fire res.

You can upgrade your level 20 gems to 20% quality. Do this by selling a Gemcutters Prism and the Gem to a vendor. You will get a level 1, 20% quality gem in return. The 20% quality will add a nice bonus. However, you will have to level up your gem again.

I cannot see all your jewels, but you should aim for jewels with Minions gain 6-8% increased cast and attack speed and at least 30 life.

There is also minions have 15-20% increased damage, but they are usually expensive on trade.

The fight has its technical elements and there is a lot of stuff going on at once. This makes it a pretty difficult fight at first, but it becomes easier with practice (totally unlike Aul where the mods can make the fight almost impossible).

The freeze is a result of Elder's ice attack. It has a fairly long cast time and is aimed at your position at the beginning of its cast. So, if you keep moving, you should be able to avoid them. This is why, if you watch my videos, I move in a circular fashion and don't stop any longer than it takes me to cast Storm Brand.

For the Elder aoe, it's an 8-second channel. Staying outside the circle until the last moment will make it infinitely easier to dodge everything. I count aloud to 8 when he starts channelling. Also, if Elder starts the channel in the corner of the arena, you can just go to the opposite corner and it won't reach you.

Don't forgot to change pantheon as well. Yugul will help.

Hopefully not too far from the current pathing. I'm guessing it'll be along the top near Holy Fire? There's actually an empty space there at the moment:


In any case, I'll update the levelling guide shortly after the information is available. I don't think think it'll change much in the build.

Thanks for the build guide, enjoying it so far and almost at maps.

I'm thinking of using this for my Legion build next week but i'm a little worried that summoners might not be the best for the Legion mechanic?

I get the impression from watching videos that we are meant to choose which enemies we release before fighting them? Won't our minions just attack everything at random?
