hi sorry if this has been asked before,

what map mods should i avoid? i just started maps today. thanks!

100% avoid Elemental reflect

Others all doable, while primarily one another - the "no regen" mod - is a little dependent on your equip ( if you have "leech" or "regen on block" ), its at least a little annoying, as you need mana as well.
I´d skip that as well, but its not so frequent as the elemental reflect is.

Of course you can bypass the elemental reflect simply but have a fitting mod on your watchstone in the region ( "cannot take reflected damage" ) - for this you need to have watchstones already of course ;-)

Thanks for the build! It's very fun.

I'm currently rolling the cheap CI version with this

Apart from the problems that I have a 4L. What would be a good mod for the quartz flask, or is there a bettter flask?.

Also, I'm currently at 6k ES but sometimes when I kill a pack of monsters even if all are killed my ES drops to 0 and I die, is it because I have shitty flasks? I'm at T10 maps.

Thanks boys and girls

The Jewellers Touch (prophecy) is super cheap, ~5 c, for a 5L.

Roll a flask to have "of Iron Skin"
I'm not sure how to post my gear, but you can check my profile (character Phosphonate). Without flasks, I have 3658 armour, so Aegis Aurora restores 73 ES on block. But with my Granite Flask of Iron Skin up, I have 12301 armour, so AA restores 246 ES on block.

Also, Immortal Call isn't very good without endurance charges, since 3.7. It's only ~30% less damage taken for (base) 1 second. I usually use Steelskin, but since this build benefits from armour (with Aegis Aurora), molten shell is great here. It takes 75% of damage from hits and with Granite Flask of Iron skin up, my level 12 molten shell can take 2623 damage, and lasts 3 seconds.

Another change I've made is to put Cold Snap in my wand (instead of storm brand/EE). It generates frenzy charges fairly well, and not spending a charge to bypass CD fine, since it's for charge generation.

Loving the build so far, thanks Clydehart!

tl;dr: My recommendations (for Incandescent Heart and Aegis Aurora) - Flask of Iron skin, run a granite or rumi's, use molten shell not immortal call, and cold snap in wand

Slightly upgraded Gloves, Amulet and Ring (was tired of not having a Portal gem) but the first big upgrade to this character was the es on block shield I purchased for 1ex.

I'm at 9200 ES now and I'm pretty sure nothing can kill me now. Should finish my atlas tomorrow.

Any plan for cluster jewels?
So, what's better, a tabula = 6L or incandescent Heart on a 5L?
I'm wondering if I should gamble with farric wolf alpha and try to free up suffix for trigger socketed gems?
Also isn't there better nodes than those 3 Intelligence ones?

Don't gamble with Farric Wolf. Use Harvest to remove crit- it has no value. The APS is very, very nice for QOL.

EDIT: Also, the 3 int nodes are the best point/value for %ES that you can readily grab. Opt out if you want damage over ES.

You need to connect back to the witch path on the right side (through the ES). Once you do that, open the skill tree and press "Refund Passives" at the top. Click the passives you want to refund and then hit "Apply Refunds."
