So, for the CwDT-BallLightning-Flammability link to work, we either need to keep Flammability at lvl 5, or have to increase the level of CwDT.
Thanks StormHUN!

I made the change in the guide as soon as I saw your post. Thanks for pointing out the error.

That's exactly what I was about to ask... or we coud self-cast the golems, move them to a 3-link, move CdDT/Balllighning/Flammability to the now empty 4-link and add curse on hit. This way the level of Flammability shouldn't matter anymore.

However, I'm not sure if this still works. Now that curses/hexes have completely changed, Im a bit behind with my knowledge...
Hey Caligula_Exile!

That idea works as long as your zombies stay alive. Curse on Hit is now Hextouch Support. It works the exact same as Curse on Hit, but only with Hexes. So it'll work the exact same as before.

What's the best amulet anointment? Entropy sounds nice and cheap (23 % increased damage over time). Does Divine Justice work with Righteous Fire, too? (50 % increased elemental damage)

My second question would be: I noticed that I can have 4 golems, but I have only 3 different ones. Does it make any difference which one of them I cast twice?
I feel like a golem-mama already and I love it :D
There are a ton of good notables to choose from. There's life regen, DOT damage, max life, increasing max resists...it's pure preference (and crafting cost).

Increasing Elemental Damage applies to RF. So Divine Judgement works with this build.

Golem buffs do not stack. I've updated the guide to mention it a couple of times. Thanks for pointing it out.

I'm glad you're having a good time so far :)

Hi mate,

I think I'll enjoy your flexibility build, never made any RF builds nor any golemancers in ~2k hours playing the game so far... it's about timeto work on both in one buildn thanks to you !

But I have a two simple questions :

1) don't CwDT-PF-WoC proc EE against us ? I'm wondering how not...
2) do golem's buffs stack in you play multiple copies ? Like multiple stone golems just to sustain RF faster in the early stages ;)

Thank you !
Hey Amnexty!

Sweet! Thanks! I hope this is a good RF Golem introduction experience for you.

I've updated the guide now, so the explanations to how the fire skills linked to CwDT are now there. The idea is that we want the buffs from PF and WoC but we want EE to always work in our favour. So we have Ball Lightning going off tons with the fire spells going off a lot less frequently. The idea is that EE will always be giving us the positive benefit while we reap the rewards of the fire skills too.

Multiple golems of the same type do not have their buffs stack :(. We only have 4 golems inadvertently. I just wanted all the golem buff nodes and it just so happened that it also gave us 4 golems in the meantime.

Good questions and thanks for the thanks! Ask whatever you like.

Nvm, something just changed, my life regen now keeps my health somewhat stable between enduring call.

476 life regen and 2447 life.
Hey kallekofot!

You bet it gets better! :) I'm glad things panned out for you all of a sudden. I finished the guide last night, so now you can take a browse through the levelling section (even though you may be done campaign), and all the others and see if anything helps and such.

Thanks for your patience while I got everything together.

I admit that I was quite sceptical when I read "righteous fire" + "elementalist"... But I gave it a try and respecced one of my veteran characters. And I must say that I'm impressed. The damage output ist amazing. She even can do incursions in time. Tanky enough if I don't play ignoring the map mods.

That's her and her equipment.

Thank you for a fabulous guide!
Nice! I'm glad you're liking it! It's SO fun when fully levelled. I've gone with the less damage but huge AoE route. I'm looking forward to here what others think once people have their characters setup. Honest feedback though people!

Thanks Caligula_Exile. You rock.

Thanks for this guide! Exactly the sort of thing I've been looking for.

This is only my second league; my first I ran with a much more detailed guide, so I'm actually having to understand stuff this time (had to respec the point I put in to Elemental Equilibrium without reading it!). My question is, is there a benefit to having e.g. the Golem skills linked with Cast with Damage Taken other than properly leaning in to the one-button-ness of the build? Or if I was willing to stretch to a couple of extra buttons, could I link them with something else with no detriment?
Thanks Myrmigalen!

Thanks for your kind words! I really appreciate it. I've updated the guide now so that it's complete. Hopefully, it still encourages you to still learn as you go.

The reason I have the Golems linked to CwDT is to "guarantee" that they are alive and active. Enduring Cry ensures that enemies attack us so the golems are safer but there's TONS of incidental damage that kills "un-aggro'd" minions all the time. So the CwDT is just to be safe. Feel free to remove it and mix things up in any way you want! Just make sure your minions are alive in juiced up T16s. If they live through that (we have no intentional investment into minion life), then CwDT isn't needed at all.

Good question and thanks for your kindness :).

I decided to check it on PC before PS4 league starts.

So far I noticed that I can't switch to RF as fast as with Marauder. I am 53 now and can sustain RF but with skill nodes I am all over the place. It is definitely way easier to level then previous build. I used Flame Salvo then switched to WoC + support skills and when I got CWDT I put that on WoC and got back to using blazing salvo. It is smooth ride leveling in compare to Marauder.

Next thing is that Marauder was slow with leveling but was not dying and it was possible to play HC, Witch is different story I am so squishy I die a lot but to note this is my staring character and I was struggling a lot with links and am struggling with currency (I still only have one CWDT as lack of alchemy is crazy + one inspiration as Orbs of chance are needed for many skills)

@Caligula_Exile thanks for confirming that this change later and this char gets better defensive as offensive is nothing to complain about.

@Wrecker_of_Days I think this is great build that I am exited to get to maps on PS4. One suggestion I would have that would help me and maybe newer players is to have in PoE sections for skills so it is easier to progress, I know in guide you say to stick to right side but having those sections for build helps a lot

And one question is it me or on marauder enduring cry was casted more often then on witch? I think this is reason I die more often with this build at the moment I feel that before I casted it way more often but maybe it is only my imagination.

PS. If you could check my skill tree and tell me where it would be good to go from here?

PS.2. We are not using Vaal RF?

PS.3. I just bought second inspiration, but it says it does not support RF, so why 4 gem is inspiration?
Hi Suporex!

Thanks for the feedback. One of the "pros" in switching to the Elementalist was the ease of levelling. I'm glad you found it easier as well. Having rough luck with drops definitely changes the league-start levelling experience for sure.

As you saw in the levelling guide I only give suggestions to tree directions. But I strongly prefer the learning curve of having people make choices for themselves. Each branch is well balanced and there isn't anything in the tree that is right or wrong to get early or leave until last. There are some new folk that have asked for step by step levelling processes, but I've stuck with the steeper learning curve in hopes that new folk learn the game faster by making their own choices. I appreciate the feedback though!

Enduring Cry can only go off once every 8 seconds now. It used to be 6. You can hold the button down to make life easier.

You can most definitely use Vaal RF if it drops for you. There's no reason not to use it. I love it and use it myself.

Inspiration supports any skill. In the guide I mention synergy between Enduring Cry and RF both linked with Inspiration. Basically, when you have Inspiration Charges, all skills with Inspiration gain More Elemental Damage. So it works well with this build. Does that make sense?

Great questions and thanks for the feedback. Let me know if you have any other suggestions.
