Based on my personal experience, Logbooks are not an issue as long as you pick the mods smartly, and dont charge right into the middle of a screen full of runic monsters. Killing Expedition bosses might be a challenge, especially when you stack a lot of modifies on them.
Is there any particular reason for the beacon of madness boots?

I am not sure whether I want to give up my life/resist boots...

Hello, f4ward. Great build, i switched from spider ocultist to try this build. I realy like this build and invest some currency to this build. Now have 300k dot from DO, and 1.2kk CA (can 1.9kk when empower go to lvl 4-5)
I realy like this clear speed. But have big problem with survivality, i capped all res, and all my gear have 70-80 max life, but only have 4k life is too small for t16 map (without alc orb). Maven invitational is so hard to play without 3-4 death.
I realy like this build, and i can invest some currency. But don't know what to improve. I can buy cluster's and going to 1 cluster build (don't want to die -> scale your damage xD)
Or i need something for survivality maybe (molten shell, immortal call, vitality) because have free socket's on item.
Or maybe you invented something for survivality.
And help me pls, i don't understand why single target not the best, i have great items and not bad gems but bosses in maven inv killing so long + bad survivality = death)
in t16 vaal temple map i can't kill 3 bosses because 1 cast aoe attack and kill me for 2 attack (flask used all in this moment)
I'm not complaining, this just small review to improve it.
And how we stacking withered stack's?

Enjoying the build so far, only level 81 about to breach into red maps soon.


Similar question to the person above me, I have an extra slot to add either steelskin or molten shell to have on my left mouse button. My gut tells me molten shell but can you shed some light on this for me?

Holy shit, I just realized how good Xibaqua Glorious Vanity is for defenses. I knew the +5 max chaos res part and thought that was the reason to get it. But now that I have it, I got 38% increased armour + 3% phys reduction from the deep wisdom node too (is that random rolled?). Massive defenses increase and I should have prioritized this earlier. I got a good roll on it and have 7% more damage from it as well and 2% life. That's a massive power increase from one jewel.

Plus I just fit the two endurance charges on my rings. And fit in defiance banner, still with a life recoup node. can say that build actually feels a bit tanky finally.



So to answers the last two posts on survivability, go full armour on gloves/boots/helmets and add defiance banner. Go for one of the recoup nodes, and possibly allocate the other if you want full denfensive. Definitely have molten shell on cast when damage taken. Ideally add Viridi's plus 2 vermilion rings (hexproof and no crits is huge), you should have 4.5k health. After shuffling resists I added two min endurance charges on the rings for extra phys reduction. You for sure need a granite flask and a flask rolled with 40%+ increased armour, and having them on used when charges hit full can keep them active. Have the forbidden taste with savage hit trigger. Impresence also adds a small defensive buff from Maddening Presence, plus lets you fit temp chains and enfeeble. Add a Xibaqua Glorious Vanity as I discussed above how huge that benefit is.

Also honestly if you're dying drop the "+1 to Level of all Chaos Skill Gems, Lose 10% of Life" node. It's a good damage buff, but it eats your life flasks during a boss if you don't have Vitality running.
To improve your surviving, use magic rings and activate the modifiers of Viridi's Veil.

The armour node is a random roll. Glorious Vanity is awesome for defenses.

Thanks for your input. Really helpful, but I don't get why Hexproof from Viridi is so good? Can't we get that just from a flask suffix?

By the way I don't think your increased armor from your silver flask stacks with the inc. armor from you granite?

1. I don't trust flasks to have 100% uptime, especially when it comes to bosses. Also, flasks no longer grant immunity to Curses, but instead lower Curse effectiveness (on utility flasks), or remove curse (on life), which is not optimal for cursed maps.

2. Having 2 magic rings makes it worth using Hidden Potential jewel. And not to mention how easy it is to roll those rings, instead of trying to find or craft something else.

3. Inc. Armour from multiple flasks seems to stack, at least according to POB. Need to test ingame, but I believe the explicit mods stack, unlike implicit mods (i.e. same flasks twice).
Edit: I stand corrected - Explicit mods also don't stack.
